Awards and Achievements

content

Whether you fight for victory, for currencies, or even for glory, you might be interested in awards and achievements! After all, if you want to be the very best, you better be able to show it. Here's what you can collect in our game!

Medals

Here are the different types of medals you can receive in World of Tanks:

Battle Heroes

These are the most common medals, given to players who played their part perfectly in a battle.

Epic Medals

If Battles Heroes medals are not enough of a challenge for you, collect these awards, only given to the most daring and outstanding commanders out there.

Honorary Ranks

These medals reward the crazy, uncanny or simply best moves of a battle or a series of battles.

Stage Rewards

Awards are also really helpful to track your progression in World of Tanks. Stage Rewards are here for that exactly!

Commemorative Tokens

These medals celebrate odd, fun, or milestone moments of a battle, and can be awarded to multiple players in the same fight.

Group Awards

United, you're stronger. These medals reward the best feats in platoons.

Specials

Most of our special events come with unique medals. If you want to say "I was there", here is the proof you need!

Where Do I Find Them?

From the Garage, go to "Service Record" (top-centre of your screen), then click on "Awards" to discover a galaxy of medals!

Mastery Badges

Only a few achievements are as prestigious as the Mastery Badges. These rewards display your abilities aboard a specific vehicle.

To get a Mastery Badge of your favourite vehicles, you need to earn more XP in a single battle than the average XP of a certain percentage of players who have been battling in the very same vehicle within the last seven days.

That might sound like a challenge, but rest assured that once you get this master badge, no one can take it from you!

III Class

Earn more base XP in a single battle than the average highest experience of 50% of all players in the same tank within the last 7 days.

II Class

Earn more base XP in a single battle than the average highest experience of 80% of all players in the same tank within the last 7 days.

I Class

Earn more base XP in a single battle than the average highest experience of 95% of all players in the same tank within the last 7 days.

Ace Tanker

Earn more base XP in a single battle than the average highest experience of 99% of all players in the same tank within the last 7 days.

If you want to check your Mastery Badges, from the garage, go to "Service Record" (top-centre of your screen) then "Vehicles" and you'll see your list of tanks. If you already own a badge for them, they will be displayed next to their name.

Marks of Excellence

These marks are a bit like the Mastery Badges. They're here to display your prowess on Tier V to X vehicles. However, this time you can show them off directly on the field. Indeed, the Marks are automatically painted on your gun barrel. Flags, stars, lines, crosses... every nation paints the Mark of Excellence differently.

There are three levels of Marks of Excellence, based on the average combined damage you dealt with one specific tank. This combined damage consists of the damage dealt to enemy vehicles by you, plus the assisted damage of vehicles spotted or immobilized (destroyed tracks) by you – or damage during stun if you play SPGs. Team damage is counted as negative damage and will be subtracted from your final value.

First Mark

Your damage and assist damage ratio must be higher than that of 65% players using the given vehicle for the past 14 days.

Second Mark

Your damage and assist damage ratio must be higher than that of 85% players using the given vehicle for the past 14 days.

Third Mark

Your damage and assist damage ratio must be higher than that of 95% players using the given vehicle for the past 14 days.

The damage value of the Marks of Excellence consists of three factors:

Own damage + assist damage - team damage

As for the calculation of the assisted damage, only the assist type with the highest value will be considered. That means, assist damage by immobilising, spotting, and stun are not counted together. If you rack up 1,000 damage by immobilising and 1,500 by spotting, only the 1,500 damage by spotting are counted towards the formula, as it's the highest value.
