Start Your Referral Program

The program is about a Commander and their Recruits playing cooperatively. The Commander is an experienced player who is eager to share their experience with other players. The Recruit is a player who is not as experienced in World of Tanks or hasn't logged in to the game for a long time and is invited by the Commander. A player who wants to become a Commander or Recruit must meet particular requirements.

Commander Requirements:

  • Has fought over 600 Random Battles
  • Their account is not suspended or pending deletion

Recruit Requirements:

  • Has fought fewer than 200 battles (in all game modes) or has not played in the last 60 days
  • Has not previously completed any Referral Contracts
  • Is not currently already participating in the Referral Program as a Recruit
  • Has never been and is not currently a Commander
  • Their account is not suspended or pending deletion

Recruiting

There are two ways to generate a personal invitation link.

1. In-Game

The button to access the Referral Program is located in the lower-left corner of your Garage. Click it to go to the Referral Program interface and follow the instructions.

2. Via the World of Tanks Portal

Request your unique referral link right here at the top of this guide.

You can return to this site at any time via the Community section on the portal by clicking "Refer a Friend" in the drop-down menu.

Share your personal link with potential Recruits via social media, chat, email, etc. and invite them to join the game.

Become a Recruit

If you've received a personal invitation link from a Commander and would like to become a World of Tanks Recruit, follow these easy steps!

  1. Click the link to get to the "Invite" sign-up page.
  2. Create a new account or log in to an already existing one via the portal.
  3. To see whether you are eligible to become the inviting Commander's Recruit, an automated check is performed.
  4. Confirm your participation in the Referral Program with the Commander who sent the invitation by entering their nickname.

Progression in the Referral Program

In Referral Program 2.0, every Contract between a Commander and their Recruits consists of six consecutive stages: the Referral Campaign. Commanders and Recruits need to work together to earn 250 Referral Points to complete each stage—so a total of 1,500 Referral Points is required to complete a Referral Campaign. Both players receive corresponding rewards for the completion of a stage, as well as the main reward for the completion of all six stages.

Referral Points

Commanders and Recruits receive Referral Points for certain actions performed in Random Battles. All of the possibilities to earn Referral Points are displayed in the in-game "Ways of Earning Referral Points" interface.

Possible Ways to Earn Referral Points:

  • Causing damage, including assistance damage, that exceeds your vehicle's own HP (available only to Recruits).
  • Victory (available only to Recruits).
  • Earning awards and medals from a select list (available only to Recruits).
  • Causing a certain amount of damage for playing in a Recruit-Commander Platoon.

Conditions for Earning Referral Points:

  • The Recruit and Commander have to rank in the top 12 on their team by base XP earned, whether in a Recruit-Commander Platoon or a solo Recruit mission.
  • Playing in a Platoon and completing the special missions available to the Recruit will double the Points earned.

Awards and Medals for Earning Referral Points

You can earn 10 Referral Points per battle for obtaining medals in a single game.

Lehväslaiho's Medal

Steel Wall

Receive more potential damage than any player on your team—at least 1,000 HP—and survive. Receive at least 11 hits.

Some Recruit missions can be performed independently, while others are only available while playing in a Platoon with the Commander, as the Referral Points are shared in one common "piggy bank." In the case of Platoon missions, progress will be faster because solo and Platoon tasks can be performed simultaneously. The Commander has no solo missions, but they can help their Recruits by playing together.

Commander Bonuses:

  • The Commander receives bonuses at the end of each Random Battle only when playing in a Platoon with their Recruits.
  • Bonuses for playing in a Platoon with Recruits: +50% to XP and +50% to credits
  • The Commander does not receive referral bonuses for playing solo.

Recruit Bonuses:

  • The Recruit receives bonuses at the end of each Random Battle both when playing solo and in a Platoon with their Commander.
  • For playing solo: +50% to XP and +50% to credits
  • For playing in a Platoon with their Commander: +100% to XP and +100% to credits

Daily Referral Points Limit

It is not possible to earn more than 100 Referral Points per day. This step has been taken to avoid situations where some players enter a battle and simply do nothing, thereby spoiling the game for other players.

Rewards of the Referral Program

By winning battles and earning Referral Points, the Commander and their Recruits gradually fill in the progress bar. As soon as the first stage has been completed, both players will receive a reward, and they'll get more rewards with every completed stage.

Ending a Referral Contract

They say breaking up is hard to do, but there are cases where it might be necessary. A Referral Contract can be ended at any time by any of its participants.

Referral Contracts can be broken in the following ways:

  1. The "Break Referral Connection" option in the Context menu on the tile of the player's Referral Program.
  2. The "Break Referral Connection" option in the Context menu on the player's nickname in the interface of the Referral Program completion progress.

After ending the Referral Contract, its participants lose all progress and bonuses. However, players still keep the rewards received within the Referral Program.

Once the Contract is concluded, both participants should receive a notification confirming the termination.

Important: Once terminated, a Contract cannot be restored.
