Update 1.26 (September 2024)
- Czechoslovakian Light Tanks: The new branch includes four vehicles from Tier VII to Tier X. Tier VIII–X tanks have twin autocannons with high fire rates and great burst damage potential. Constant firing requires constant aiming and decreases accuracy during bursts, so the autocannons come with a firing efficiency indicator.
- Revamped Perk System: The maximum number of perks is now limited to six for crew members' main roles (with up to three bonus perks for every additional role, trained along with the main ones with no extra XP required). Over a dozen new perks are introduced, and a number of old perks have been modified. A month-long grace period for free perk resets is established; once it expires, every crew member (including newly created ones) will have one free reset.
- Vehicle Rebalance: Three vehicle branches (leading to the Bat.-Châtillon 25 t, the M48 Patton, and the K-91 and starting from Tier V) receive boosts along with revised stock configurations and improved modules. Five Premium tanks also get performance boosts, enhancing their agility, firepower, and resilience.
- New Random Events: Introduced for Pilsen (the central machine shop is bombed), Malinovka (a plane crashes on the mountain), and Karelia (a landscape-changing rockslide occurs).
- Improved Maps: Eight locations have received adjustments to improve gameplay for all vehicle classes, with Mannerheim Line, Oyster Bay, and Outpost undergoing the most significant changes.
- Battle Pass XV: Inspired by the Waffenträger universe, this Season unveils Max von Krieger's early life and features Waffenträger-themed customization rewards.
- Onslaught: Season of the Azure Manticore begins the 2024–2025 annual cycle with revised rules and unique rewards, including the Stinger, a Tier X tank with a unique crew and 3D style.
- Consumables Update: Small Repair and First Aid Kits now repair all modules and heal all crew members, respectively, on use. Large consumables have reduced cooldown times. Speed Governor, 100/105-octane Fuel, and Lend-Lease/Quality Oil have been removed. Quality Fuel and Excellent Fuel are introduced for all nations and engine types.
- WoT Plus Update: WoT Plus benefits now include an Equipment Assistant that shows the most common equipment on specific vehicles based on server statistics.
Update 1.25.1 (July 2024)
- Onslaught Light: An experimental version of Onslaught with no Ranks or Qualification and not part of the Year/Season Onslaught cycle. Runs from July 10 through July 24. Played in Tier VIII vehicles (including Premium ones). Has a 15-stage event progression with the unique "Enlightenment" 2D style and two decals among its rewards.
- Steel Hunter: The July 2024 launch features a qualifying system for an open online tournament. Players with high leaderboard positions in the qualification (including non-qualifiers) receive prizes. The launch also introduces several quality-of-life improvements and the progressive "Tempered Steel" 2D style with its five stages unlocked by completing missions in the mode (optionally, over multiple launches).
Update 1.25 (June 2024)
- Operation Overlord: Runs from June 6 to July 3. Players can access it via the Operation Overlord tab in the Stories game mode or the event banner in the Garage. Players control the M4A3E8 and complete missions for valuable rewards, including unique historical 2D styles.
- Frontline: The new Episode is a relaunch of Frontline Episode 4, featuring battles played by the rules of one of three randomly selected scenarios. Several issues have been fixed.
- New Achievement System: Tracks progress in collecting vehicles and customization. Achievements earn players Achievement Points, with over 600 new achievements and 7,000+ points available. New animated Dog Tags with unique ranks are also available as rewards.
- Battle Pass XIV: In honor of the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings, the Battle Pass features new customization elements and vehicles inspired by historical events. Final rewards for each Chapter now include Tier VI Premium vehicles with unique 3D styles.
- Onslaught: Players receive Year of the Pegasus Annual Rewards, which may include The Hurricane with a 3D style, special crew, medals, and more.
- Arcade Cabinet: Resources for the upcoming Darkness of the Night game mode have been added.
- Vehicle Rebalancing: ARL 44: Adjusted turret armor and durability. Churchill VII: Adjusted turret and hull armor, increased durability.
- Fixed Issues and Improvements: Fixed command menu issues and display problems with certain vehicles and equipment—improved visual models for several vehicles and styles.
Update 1.24.1 (April 2024)
- Polish Tank Destroyers: The game’s first branch of Polish tank destroyers includes six vehicles from Tier V to Tier X. Tiers V–VII showcase classic turretless TDs with traditional gameplay. Vehicles of Tiers VIII–X have deep-rifled guns with star tray shell mechanics to deal maximum damage in close combat.
- Crew Updates: All crews now operate at 100% efficiency. We have also renamed the major qualification level to "crew efficiency" for clarity, enabled you to change your tanker's qualification through the credit retraining operation, and implemented other changes to make the system more convenient to use.
- Tier X Vehicle Rebalancing: The Pz.Kpfw. VII and AMX 50 Foch B receive performance boosts, while the Super Conqueror and Controcarro 3 Minotauro get slight adjustments to make them less formidable. Slight performance adjustments have also been made to surrounding Tier VIII-IX French and Italian TDs in their branches.
- Improved Maps: Mountain Pass has undergone substantial changes. Slight adjustments have been made to various positions on Karelia, Mines, El Halluf, and Outpost.
- Onslaught: Season of the Jade Pegasus: The closing Season of the Year of the Pegasus introduces Innovative Targeting, a new piece of Improved Equipment. It also features Team Training with Onslaught maps and fresh customization rewards.
- Postmortem Mode: This feature provides vital insights into enemy positioning, shell trajectory, and penetration mechanics. It includes Last Moment—functionality that unveils crucial details of the shot that destroyed your vehicle. This offers both Detailed and Short versions.
- Revamped Tour of Duty: The updated clan activity introduces daily Tour missions with sequential completion. Rewards for missions include Industrial Resource and a new clan currency.
Update 1.24 (March 2024)
- Maneuvers: The updated clan event introduces a bond auction. Maneuvers also feature Encounter Battles instead of Standard Battles, a bonus for the first victory of the day in a new vehicle, and interface improvements.
Update 1.23.1 (January 2024)
- New Japanese Heavy Tanks: Six fresh Japanese heavy tanks with well-sloped armor, robust turrets, and two gameplay-changing mechanics: double aiming (gun cooling) and hydropneumatic suspension.
- Onslaught: Season of the Crimson Pegasus: The latest Onslaught chapter features new maps and three new combat modifiers.
- Revitalizing Vehicles: Rebalancing of 11 low-tier vehicles (Tier II to Tier IV) to improve accessibility for newcomers and enhance the experience for seasoned veterans.
- Frontline Episode 4: The next Frontline Episode introduces the dynamic battle scenarios system. In each battle, a randomly selected scenario from three Combat Reserves options will unfold.

- Random Events: A spectacular new feature that transforms the battlegrounds on Himmelsdorf, Ruinberg, Prokhorovka, and Safe Haven, offering expanded tactical options and promoting dynamic gameplay through significant map changes.
- Arcade Cabinet: A series of icy weekends, each packed with snow, festive fun, and unusual battles!
- Festive Activities: Preparations for Well-Deserved Reward and Holiday Ops, as well as other exciting winter activities.

- Crew Interface Overhaul: An upgraded interface to make your interaction with crews easier, more intuitive, and more convenient at all stages.
- The Elite Levels System: A new index of your experience with your favorite vehicles to show the World of Tanks community that you’re an experienced Commander.

Update 1.22 (September 2023)
- British Wheeled Medium Tanks: Six new wheeled vehicles that can turn in place, are easy to handle without extra movement modes, and have precise guns.
- Rebalanced Maps: Several maps in the game have been adjusted to improve balance and create more tactical approaches.
- Rebalanced Vehicles: Several vehicles across multiple categories underwent stat adjustments to make gameplay more balanced, tactically diverse, and fair.
- Onslaught: Season of the Azure Pegasus: The first Onslaught season in a year-long cycle of three with an updated new ranking system, Qualification battles, and more.
- Battle Pass Season XII: A new Mirny-13-themed season with Progressive styles for the core vehicles, Object 140, M-V-Y, and Jagdpanzer E100.
- WoT Plus: Daily log-in bonus and extra rewards for every fifth log-in for WoT Plus subscribers.
- Auto-Flipping Vehicles: Flipped Vehicles that cannot move will automatically return to normal after 15 seconds.

- Ranked Battles: Discontinuation of Ranked Battles mode.
- Frontline Mode: Addition of the Twist of Fate scenario. Features and mechanics were adjusted to improve the performance and fun of the game mode.
- Overwhelming Fire: Addition of game mode resources.
- Battle Pass: Addition of a time-limited chapter.
- Steel Hunter: Addition of Classic format. Adjustments of vehicles and Combat Abilities to improve the performance and fun of the game mode.

Update 1.21 (May 2023)
- Frontline Mode: Addition of the new Fata Morgana map. Numerous features and mechanics were reworked and adjusted to improve the performance and fun of the game mode.
- Steel Hunter: Reborn: Addition of the “Reborn” mechanic and AI-controlled Marauders. Decrease of players in Solo mode to 15. Features and mechanics were reworked and adjusted to improve the performance and fun of the game mode.
- Service Record: The Service Record tab has been reworked to improve functionality and usefulness.
- Battle Pass: Addition of new rewards.

Update 1.20.1 (April 2023)
- Recon Mission: Random Events and Dynamic Cover: Brand-new mechanics offer a fresh gameplay experience and new tactical opportunities on the battlefield.
- Improved Crew System: A comprehensive rework of the crew system, affecting perks, XP penalties, and the crew interface.
- New Branch of Japanese Tank Destroyers: Six new Japanese tank destroyers have been added to the game.
- New Launch of Onslaught: Onslaught returns with the Season of the Crimson Griffin, special status rewards, and several gameplay improvements, including reworked vehicle Role Skills, two special combat modifiers, two additions to the map pool—Airfield and Glacier—and more!
- WoT Plus: A monthly subscription available in the Premium Shop, offering exclusive benefits to enhance the gameplay experience and provide new opportunities, such as crew training without even entering a battle, gold income, one more slot for map exclusion, and other handy bonuses!
- Battle Pass Collections: The Collection Elements feature was added.
Update 1.20 (February 2023)
- New Map and Changes to Existing Maps: The Oyster Bay map was added and a host of changes were made to 11 other maps.
- In-Game Tournaments Tab: A Tournaments tab, containing lists of available tournaments and challenges, was added to the main menu in the Garage.
- Changes to the Bootcamp: Players can now use Tier VI and VII vehicles to complete the Bootcamp. The nation of the vehicle used in the Bootcamp will depend on the player's region and country. When entering the main Garage for the first time, players will receive three Tier III vehicles that can be used to complete the Bootcamp. Tier I vehicles of other nations will not be credited. The total number of vehicle slots will not change.
- Changes to the Store: New vehicles, equipment, and 3D styles have been added to the Items for Bonds section of the in-game Store.
- Changes to the Technical Characteristics of Vehicles: Improvements and alterations to a total of 23 vehicles.
- New Vehicles for Testing by Supertest Players: The ST-62 Version 2, TITT Rozanov, MBT-B, and Type 5 Ka-Ri.
Update 1.19.1 (January 2023)
- New Branch of Chinese Tanks With the Jet Booster Mechanics: Four vehicles (from Tier VII to Tier X) have been added: the BZ-58, BZ-166, BZ-68, and BZ-75.
- New Vehicles for Testing by Supertest Players: The Kampfpanzer 3 Prj. 07 HK, BZ-58-2, and Type 5 Ka-Ri.
Update 1.19 (December 2022)
- Holiday Ops 2023: The annual holiday event returns with Milla Jovovich and Arnold Schwarzenegger as celebrity guests, a new festive Garage, Large Boxes, special event resources, and more.
- Changes to Technical Characteristics of Vehicles: SU-2-122, Pz.Kpfw. KW I (r), A25 Harry Hopkins I, and M16/43 Sahariano have been added to the game.
Update 1.18.1 (October 2022)
- Onslaught: The new competitive Onslaught mode was added.
- Sixth Sense: All vehicle commanders received the Sixth Sense perk for free.
- Personal Reserves: Personal Reserves were reworked to be simpler to use, including changes to the Reserve duration, types of Reserves, and bonus percentages. Old Personal Reserves were converted to align with the updated mechanics.
- Map Changes: Improvements and alterations were made to the maps Malinovka, Sand River, Fisherman's Bay, and Himmelsdorf.
Update 1.18 (August 2022)
- 32-bit OS: Support for 32-bit operating systems was discontinued.
- Italian Tank Destroyers: Six Italian tank destroyers were added as part of a new tech tree branch.
- Destroyed Track Physics: Technology for the physically correct behavior of knocked-down vehicle tracks was added.
- Matchmaking: Wheeled vehicles were limited to one per team in Random Battles, and SPGs were weighted towards a maximum of two per team.
- Map Changes: Outpost was added. Improvements and alterations to a total of 15 maps.
- Changes to Technical Characteristics of Vehicles: Improvements and alterations to a total of 42 vehicles.
Update 1.17.1 (July 2022)
- Frontline: Several aspects of the mode were reworked, including the number of Frontline Tiers, the number of Battle Pass Points and Combat Reserve Points that can be earned, plus balancing and interface improvements and new rewards.
- European Minors: An update to our Account Management section will offer greater control for parents of players under the age of 18.
Please note that the functionality has been added to the client, but will not be enabled at this point and will not be until further notice.
- Changes to Technical Characteristics of Vehicles: The T-26 CN, TL-7, Lago M38, and SMV CC-64 Vipera were added to the Supertest.
Update 1.17 (May 2022)
- Steel Hunter: Several aspects of the mode were reworked, including Platoons, Danger Zones, loot mechanics, and the economy. An additional map and three new vehicles were added.
- Stronghold: Combat Reserves were reworked, and the economy was adapted to align with these changes.
- Recon Mission: Three new maps—Anykeyyevka, Aquila, and Klostertal—joined three returning maps—Canyon, Airshipyard, and Far East.
- Changes to Technical Characteristics of Vehicles: The FV4201 Chieftain Proto and TS-54 were added to the Supertest.
Update 1.16.1 (April 2022)
- Art of Strategy: Art of Strategy is a new real-time strategy game mode where players play as a Strategist, commanding seven AI-controlled vehicles, or as one of seven commanders who oppose them.
- Vehicle Outlining: An added option that enables the rendering of various obstacles that are inside an opposing vehicle's collision model. Objects are highlighted differently depending on whether they are penetrable.
- Frontline: Battles returned to single-tier. Several changes to Combat Reserves.
- Map Changes: Improvements and alterations to several maps, including Siegfried Line, Tundra, Klondike, Normandie, and Kraftwerk.
- Changes to Technical Characteristics of Vehicles: Improvements to the Caernarvon Action X and T-34-1 model 2 turret collision models. The Object 259A was added to the Supertest.
- Customization Elements: The following decals have been removed from the in-game Store: Band-Aid 1, Bend, Double Bend, Left Patches, Chevron, and Inverted Chevron.
Update 1.16 (February 2022)
- Battle Pass: Season 7 of the Battle Pass brought a new progression system in which chapters could be completed in any order. Battle Pass Points could be earned without selecting a Chapter, later to be automatically invested in the progress of a selected Chapter. New crew members, 2D styles, decals, and progressive styles were added.
- Map Changes: Improvements and alterations to several maps, including Erlenberg, Siegfried Line—which received the most changes—Ghost Town, Redshire, and Steppes.
- Ranked Battles: The reward screen for selecting pieces of improved equipment was enhanced.
- Changes to Technical Characteristics of Vehicles: The T-44-100 tanks were replaced with the T-44-100 (I). The K-2 and the ShPTK-TVP 100 were added to the Supertest.
Update 1.15 (December 2021)
- Holiday Ops 2022: The long-awaited magical atmosphere, festive bonuses, and rewards added—including a new Garage, small and large boxes, holiday post, the Holiday Ops vehicles branch, and special Missions from Arnold Schwarzenegger!
- Map Changes: Improvements and alterations to several maps, most notably the Berlin map, focused on improving the balance of approach times to key positions and making combat more playable.
- Ranked Battles: The approach to rewarding players in the Qualification Stage changed, new items added to the Ranked Battles Items section, a filter for suitable vehicles added, interface improvements made, and minor issues fixed.
- Changes to Technical Characteristics of Vehicles: The AMBT and WZ-114 were added to the Supertest.
Update 1.14.1 (October 2021)
- Map Changes: Terrain irregularities on the Mannerheim Line map that caused vehicles to slide into the water have been smoothed out.
- Field Modification: Alternate Configuration appearing before a battle starts can now be switched off. Additional changes were made to increase user-friendliness.
- Changes to Technical Characteristics of Vehicles: Rebalancing of several Chinese vehicles, including the Type 59/Type 59 G.
Update 1.14 (August 2021)
- Topography mode: A single-player training mode that allows you to learn basic tactics for Standard Battles on 15 maps.
- Field Modification mechanic: They allow players to fine-tune the technical characteristics of Tier VI–X vehicles once they acquire Elite status.
- New Czechoslovakian Heavy Tank Branch: Four new heavy tanks from Tier VII through Tier X were added to the Czechoslovakian tech tree.
- Safe Haven Map: A new 1,000×1,000-meter summer map was added for Random Battles; the map is set in 1960s Japan and is based on a demilitarized civilian port.
- Changes to Personal Missions' Conditions for SPGs: Some conditions of Personal Missions for SPGs were revised due to the rebalancing of SPGs and changes to the HE shell mechanics in an earlier update.
Update 1.13 (June 2021)

Complex Rework of HE shells: In the new system, HE shells will be able to penetrate armor and cause damage at the point of impact. They will also be able to penetrate screens, tracks, the wheels of wheeled vehicles at the point of impact, as well as insignificant and/or destructible obstacles.
- Changes to SPGs and other vehicles: SPGs will now have three shell types available to them. Each will feature its own combat purpose, trajectory, and velocity, so you will now have a greater variety of tactical opportunities. Two of these shell types will not cause stun, which will significantly reduce the total stun duration in battles. Non-SPG players now have 3 new tactical features at their disposal to counteract artillery: Sound Detection (aka "Sixth Sense for Arty"), brighter shell tracers, and field of fire markers on the minimap. Another new feature is the reworked Intuition perk, which will still be available for the Loader to learn. It will become a skill that allows you to greatly speed up the process of changing the shell type and will be available for all vehicles in the game.
- Premium and Clan Warrs tanks rebalancing: Three Premium light tanks and six Clan Wars reward vehicles will receive improvements. We're updating their combat parameters and enhancing their strengths to improve their gameplay.
- Mode selection interface improvements: Now it will be more convenient for you to choose the mode you want to play! We're introducing a standard, full-size screen with separate windows for the available in-game modes. Each mode will feature a brief preview and a more detailed description on a separate page. You will also be able to track your progress in some of the modes you play.
- Minsk map rebalancing: We made several improvements to the birthplace of Wargaming. Plus, the season on the map has changed to autumn, and as such, visibility has improved in some areas. The map will be more versatile when it comes to choosing flanks and will allow teams to implement creative new tactics.

Changes to Blueprint Fragments: When creating a blueprint for a specific vehicle, if you don't have enough national fragments, you can substitute them with the national fragments of an allied nation (formations in the "Second Front" Personal Missions campaign).

Recon Mission Mode: In this mode, players will be able to try out maps that are in the late stages of development.

Ranked Battles 2021-2022: Season X: The Ranked Battles format was changed. For Season X, battles will take place between two teams of 10 players.
Update 1.12.1 (April 2021)
- Battle Interface Improvements: Players now have the option to toggle hull lock in Sniper mode in battle using the "X" key, among other improvements.
- Bootcamp: The welcome window and battle results windows, as well as the Bootcamp exit window, have been changed. A training progress bar has been added.
- Rewards for Clan Tasks: New customization elements have been added.
- Matchmaking Improvements: The matchmaker has been improved to make it easier for novices to grasp the basics of World of Tanks and adapt to the game. AI-controlled vehicles have been added and will appear if there are not enough novice players to create 2 full and equal teams, or when there's low population on the server during off-peak hours.
Update 1.12 (March 2021)
- Steel Hunter 2021: Internal modules were added to all vehicles, Players can now stay in battle and watch it to the end, information about damage caused and the final vehicle tier was added to Battle Results, the mode will support the standard replay recording function, and several changes to technical characteristics were made.
- Ranked Battles 2020–2021: Final Season: A new season of Ranked Battles brings new features to this competitive game mode.
- Battle Pass 2021: Several changes made compared to last year.
- Exchange of National and Universal Fragments: The option to exchange national and universal fragments for valuable in-game items will be added to the game for a limited time.
- Improved Track Visualization: Track visualization was improved at the Maximum and Ultra graphics quality for vehicles equipped with hydropneumatic suspension.
- New Functions Inspired by Popular Game Modifications: Several additions and improvements were made.
Update 1.11.1 (January 2021)
- Platoon 2.0: New Platoon member search functionality and improvements to Dynamic Platoons.

Client Modifications: The game client will now remember the server that the player has selected. The module repair timer and proximity spotting circle on the minimap have been adjusted.
- Italian Heavies: The following vehicles have been added to the branch starting with the P.43 bis:

Dog Tags: Some issues have been fixed. Dog Tags are now displayed in Grand Battles and other players' Dog Tags can be viewed in the Service Record.

Update 1.10 (August 2020)
- Equipment 2.0: The equipment/consumables UI and the equipment system were completely reworked. Four equipment categories were added: Firepower, Survivability, Mobility, or Scouting. When equipment is mounted into a slot of the corresponding category, the received bonus increases. All vehicles of Tiers VI–X now have slots with categories.
- Maps: The Pearl River map will return to the game with a significant makeover. Cliff, Prokhorovka, Berlin and Ruinberg maps have also been updated and reworked to address issues, improve areas of cover, strengthen spawn positions and create new opportunities for both teams.
- New Battle Communication System: The communication system for Random Battles has been revised to expand and improve interactions between players.
- Revamped Bond Mechanics: Bonds can now be earned in a different way with the goal of making the whole system more transparent, understandable, and predictable.
Update 1.9.1 (June 2020)
- Battle Pass: Season 2 has been added. New rewards for Main Progression Stages, improved functionality and player notifications. Reworked navigation on the Main Progression screen.
- Maps: Berlin map added for Tiers IV-X in Standard and Encounter battles.
- Vehicle Customization: You can now add a new customization element: progressive decals. They change their appearance as you progress through certain objectives.
- New Adjustable Style: A new universal adjustable style has been added for all nations. You can select and replace camouflage, emblems, and fonts of tactical numbers.
Update 1.9 (April 2020)
- Collector Vehicles: The new Collectors' Vehicle category has been added: it mostly includes low-tier vehicles.
- HP Adjustments: The HP pool of all Tier I-VI vehicles has been increased to ensure a more consistent durability progression from tier to tier, and an improved overall performance. The ammo rack capacity of some vehicles was also increased. New players can learn more from each of their battles and become better at the game more quickly.
- Reworked Tech Trees: The Tech Tree interface was made more user-friendly, simple, and clear, especially for new players.
Update 1.8 (February 2020)
- Daily and Premium Missions: Daily Missions will replace the Reward for Merit. Three daily missions are now available in Random Battles and can be re-rolled once every four hours. Once they are complete, a fourth bonus mission with a better reward becomes available.
- Changes in Session Statistics: Expanded the list of parameters in Session Statistics, to also include victory rate, the average number of vehicles spotted, the average number of vehicles destroyed, battles survived, and the average vehicle tier for the session.

- Soviet Double-Barreled Vehicles: Three colossal Soviet double-barreled tanks are ready to storm the battlefield.
- Demount Kit: You can now unmount and send Complex Equipment to the Depot for free without spending Gold.

- Anonymizer: In the game client, an option was added that allows players to conceal their nicknames in battle.
- Directives: Directives for crew members can now be purchased for credits only in the Consumables section of the Garage, as well as in the Service->Directives section of the Store. Note that Directives for crew members will not be available for bonds any longer.
Update 1.6.1 (September 2019)
- Multinational vehicles: Now players can change the nation of some Premium vehicles. First of all, we are talking about the well-known captured vehicles, vehicles supplied under Lend-Lease, and representatives of historical and cultural heritage, such as the Polish T-34-85 Rudy.
- Ranked Battles update: Changed the qualification logic. Added Bonus Battles for the number of chevrons according to the results of the qualification. Made some balance changes to the system of role experience. Implemented bonuses to Combat Experience and bonds for high performance upon passing the qualification.
- New customisation: introduction of the School series style (American School, Soviet School, etc.) and the Ranger 2D style, for all nations and all vehicle types.
Update 1.6 (August 2019)
- New Tank Line: British light tanks have been introduced to the game. Starting with the Setter after the Cromwell, the line ends with the Manticore at Tier X. With their small size, they are perfectly made to spot passively.
- Friendly Fire Deactivated: It is no longer possible to damage your allies by shooting or ramming.
- Updated Personal Missions: A couple of mission conditions for the Object 279 (e) campaign were changed, especially for SPGs.
- Pimp Your Ride: New customisation options are available in the game, such as new fonts and decals.
Update 1.5.1 (June 2019)
- Session Statistics: A new feature for more competitive players has been introduced. It allows checking and evaluating their performance for a single game session.
- A Reworked Map: Kharkov is back with huge changes, such as bigger size and a new open field.
- Crew Books: This new feature allows you to instantly increase the proficiency level of your crews. Those Crew Books can be earned through missions and other events or purchased.
- Improvements to Medium Tanks: The high-tier vehicles of the Leopard 1 and STB-1 lines have been changed and overall improved. They are now more different from one another, each excelling at their own role.
Update 1.5 (May 2019)
- Ranked Battles: A new season of Ranked Battles brings new features to this competitive game mode.
- New Premium Account: Introduction of a World of Tanks Premium Account only featuring exclusive bonuses.
- Excluded Maps: One map can now be excluded by the player in standard battles.
- New Vehicles: High-tier Swedish medium tanks with hydropneumatic suspension, sloped armour, and high damage per shot.
- Improvements to vehicles: The Emil I, Emil II and Kranvagn have been revised. SPGs have been rebalanced. The Type 4 Heavy, the Type 5 and the FV4005 Stage II have seen changes to their combat parameters as well.
Update 1.4.1 (March 2019)
- New Features: Rewards for Merit are awarded for a strong performance in battle with Tier V-X vehicles. They offer consumables, Bonds, Credits and even Blueprints, for faster vehicle research.

- Two Soviet top-tier vehicles: After the Soviet Tech Tree revision with Update 9.22, the incomplete lines have been filled with the Object 277 and the K-91.
- Changes to Soviet vehicles: The Object 268 v4's performance has been decreased, and the Object 430 Version II was rebalanced to fit into its new role as a long-range supporter.
- Improvements to maps: Fjords, Erlenberg, Malinovka, and Mountain Pass have been changed to be more balanced and fun to play.

- New Nation In-Game: Italy joins World of Tanks with a branch of medium tanks leading up to the Progetto M40 mod. 65.
- Autoreloader Mechanic: Currently reserved for the Italians, this mechanic acts like a conventional autoloader. However, each shell is loaded separately.
- Frontline mode: A new mode has been introduced, available for a month. Enjoy 30 vs. 30 battles on Tier VIII with respawn, multiple bases, and objectives to destroy.
- Premium Items: Both Premium consumables and ammunition are now only available for credits.
- Province: This summer map, previously been removed from the game, is now back and completely revamped.

Update 9.22 (February 2018)
- New Soviet heavy tank line: Researchable from the IS, these Soviet heavy tanks feature rear-mounted turrets and high-calibre armament. This line ends with the Object 705A.
- Changes to Soviet medium tanks: The Object 430 was changed and shifted to Tier IX, and the Object 430U is now at the top of the line.
- Changes to Soviet tank destroyers: Starting with the SU-100M1, this line is now focusing on close-combat. Armour was improved and accuracy decreased. The Object 263 was changed and shifted to Tier IX, the Object 268 Variant 4 takes its place at Tier X. The SU-122-54 was removed.
- Two open Soviet lines: Tier X vehicles following the Object 430 Variant II and the T-10 will be announced at a later date.
- Ranked Battles: Season lasts 21 days, one stage, reworked conditions of earning chevrons, new rank shields, and different rewards.
Update 9.21 (December 2017)
- New customisation system: More freedom in personalising your own vehicles with colours, patterns, and emblems for different parts of the vehicle. An option has been added to only show historical camouflages in battle.
- FV217 Badger: This new British Tier X tank destroyer replaces the FV215b (183) in the tech tree, which becomes a special vehicle. Its gameplay is now in line with the preceding vehicles in the line.
- Improvements to British vehicles: Along with the introduction of a new Tier X tank destroyer, other vehicles of this line have been improved, especially in terms of armour.
- More French heavy tanks: An alternative heavy tank line has been added to the French tech tree, ending with the AMX M4 mle. 54. They feature non-autoloader guns and tough frontal armour.
- New map for Grand Battles: Klondike has been introduced in this update and is the second map for the most recently added Random Battle type.

- Revised Personal Missions: Simplified mission conditions, plus introduction of orders to skip missions
- Bonds for Medals: Added the possibility to earn Bonds by obtaining Hero and Epic medals. The amount of Bonds varies per tier.
- Matchmaking improvements: Now vehicles of the same role (e.g. support heavy tanks or super-heavy tanks) are matched against each other.
- Super Conqueror: This new British Tier X heavy tank replaces the FV215b in the tech tree. The FV215b is now a special vehicle.
- Improvements to British vehicles: The combat parameters of mid and high-tier British heavy tanks, medium tanks and tank destroyers were improved.

- Chinese tank destroyers: A new branch of Chinese tank destroyers has been added to the game, with the WZ-113G FT as the top-tier vehicle.
- AMX 50 Foch B: This vehicle replaced the AMX 50 Foch 155 in the tech tree. The AMX 50 Foch 155 is now a special vehicle.
- Balance changes to medium tanks: A variety of medium tanks from all nations were improved to make them more competitive.
Update 9.19.1 (July 2017)
- First Polish vehicle: The Pudel, a Polish Tier VI medium tank, is now available in the game.
- Changes to SPGs: One artillery can join a platoon. Other minor changes have been introduced.
- Boot Camp: A new and improved PvE tutorial for new players with many different scenarios to cover the basics of battle.
- Revised Personal Missions: Simplified mission conditions and changes to SPG missions because of the stun mechanics.
- WZ-111-5A: A new Chinese Tier X heavy tank is now available in the game, and can be researched through the WZ-111 model 1-4, next to the 113.

- New matchmaking system: Now, teams are created with the 3/5/7 for 3-tier and 5/10 for 2-tier matches.
- Revision of SPG gameplay: The focus for SPGs is no longer on dealing huge damage but on stunning enemy vehicles. New shell trajectory perspective has been added.
- Tier X light tanks: The light tank branches have been reshuffled and five top-tier light tanks have been introduced – T-100 LT, Rhm. Panzerwagen, AMX 13 105, Sheridan, and the WZ-132-1.

- Reworked minimaps: For better visibility, the minimaps have been given a new style.
- New German vehicles: The Maus has its own branch now. The VK 100.01 (P) on Tier VIII and Mäuschen on Tier IX have been introduced. The Pz.Kpfw. VII has been introduced as well and can now be researched via the VK 45.02 (P) Ausf. B.
- Balance changes: A vast variety of vehicles, mainly British and German ones, have been improved.

- New nation: The Swedes have arrived! Two branches have been introduced, one leading up to the Kranvagn (Tier X heavy tank), the other ending with the Strv 103B (Tier X tank destroyer)
- Siege and Travel modes: Exclusive to high-tier Swedish tank destroyers, those modes either increase the firepower or speed of the vehicle.
- Balance changes: Several dated Premium vehicles have been improved to make them more competitive and profitable.
Update 9.16 (October 2016)
- Performance notifications: Damage panel, battle-performance badges and fire-direction indicators have been added to the battle user interface.
- Changes to the visibility system: The spotting delay has been reduced, therefore vehicles are spotted faster when they leave their cover.
- In-game comparison: Now you can compare vehicles in the game with different setups modules, crew skills, etc.

- Updated Garage UI: New style with collapsing and expanding categories containing combat parameters. Said parameters are now more interactive and change depending on the crew, equipment, and consumables.

- Grille 15: This new German Tier X tank destroyer replaces the Waffenträger auf E 100 as it fits better into the line. The statistics for the Waffenträger auf E 100 are saved separately.
- Balance changes: Many Japanese, but also other vehicles have been rebalanced.

- Improved vehicle physics: The movement physics have been updated. Now it’s possible to flip a vehicle over or drift around turns by using the handbrake.

- New map: Ravaged Capital has been added to the Rampage mode. This map is based on Paris.

- Centurion Action X: This vehicle replaces the FV4202 (Tier X British medium tank) in the British Tech Tree. The FV4202 has been removed.

- New low-tier American TDs: The infamous T18 and T82 have been replaced with the T3 HMC (Tier II) and T56 GMC (Tier III). The T18 is now an SPG (Tier III), same for the T82 (Tier IV).

- Domination: The first game mode of the Rampage mode has been introduced.
- Battles for Stronghold: For Strongholds of level V–VII battles are now to be fought with Tier VIII vehicles. Also, it’s now possible to add a restriction for those for certain time periods.
- Personal Reserves: A new type of bonus has been added to the game. Activate Personal Reserves, whenever you want and benefit from different bonuses for one or two hours.
- Removed map: Komarin is no longer available in Random battles.

- New low-tier experience: New players and veterans are no longer matched together in low-tier battles (Tier I–III).
- SPG rebalance: The view range of most SPGs in the game has been drastically reduced.
- New French vehicles: Several new low and top-tier vehicles have been introduced. The Tier X vehicle of the alternative medium tank branch is the AMX 30 B.
- Maps: Overlord, dedicated to the Allied landing in Normandy in 1944, has been introduced. Northwest, however, is no longer available in Random Battles.

- Strongholds: New combat reserves introduced, Artillery Strike and Airstrike, which can be used in battle (Stronghold mode only).

- Strongholds: Both the War Department and the Legionnaires feature have been added to the game.
- Light tanks: New high-tier light tanks have been added for USA, USSR, and Germany. Existing light tanks have been rebalanced.
- Transmissions: Some vehicles with the transmission in front are no longer set on fire when getting hit. However, the engine can still be damaged.
- Murovanka: Complete change of the map. Size has been increased from 800x800 to 1000x1000m, and spawn points were adjusted.
- KV-1S: This Soviet vehicle is now split in two – the KV-1S on Tier V, and the KV-85 on Tier VI.

- New game mode for clans: Strongholds have been introduced to the game. This is a game mode for clans to battle for Industrial resources, which can be used to purchase Reserves granting different types of bonuses.
- Maps: An altered version of the map Prokhorowka was added, called Fiery Salient. Other maps were corrected and slightly changed or have been removed for specific modes.
Update 9.1 (June 2014)
- New map: Kharkov has been added to the game.
- Historical Battles: Siege of Tobruk scenario added, Battle of Kursk and Battle of the Bulge have been removed.
- Marks of Excellence: An indicator of skill for avid tankers. Those have to be earned on each individual vehicle (Tier V–X), and up to three can be earned. The difficulty increases for each Mark of Excellence you earned on a specific vehicle – while the 1st might be relatively easy to get, the third one is a real achievement.
Update 9.0 (April 2014)
- HD models: With this update, all older vehicles are gradually updated to HD, and all new vehicles introduced to the game already come with HD textures.
- New game mode: Historical Battles are now available in the game. Different historical scenarios can be played with different vehicles that were used in the real battle back in World War II. Three scenarios are available at the moment: Battle of Kursk, Battle of the Bulge, and Operation Spring Awakening.
- Confrontation: The game mode has been removed entirely.
Update 8.11 (February 2014)
- New game mode: Confrontation is an alternative to Random battles. While the rules stay the same, all vehicles of one nation are matched against another one, for example, Germany vs. USSR or France vs. the USA. This battle mode is available for all tiers.
- New maps: Windstorm, a winter map, has been added. Two other maps have been introduced as well that are alternative versions of already existing maps: Ruinberg on Fire and Winter Himmelsdorf. The map Port, however, has been removed.
- Team damage: The algorithm for this system has been changed. Now, damage dealt to a platoon mate will be punished. For SPGs, the algorithm is now considering splash damage and is now more forgiving in this case.
