The second launch of Frontline is upon us. But before you charge gung-ho into fierce clashes, remember that World of Tanks battles sometimes requires more defined tactics to guarantee results.

We've ranked them and excluded some lesser-played or hard-to-get vehicles to give you the best overview before you head into battle. Offensive Playstyle
(Premium)

  1. VIII Bat.-Châtillon Bourrasque
    A popular vehicle with a great combination of mobility and firepower both in damage per shot and burst potential.
  2. VIII Panhard EBR 75 (FL 10)
    Highly mobile and hard to hit, it packs a great autoloader with solid HE penetration if needed.
  3. VIII Kampfpanzer 07 RH
    High DPM with a fast-firing gun, good mobility, and armor that can occasionally bounce a shell if you're lucky.

Offensive Playstyle
(Tech Tree)

  1. VIII Panhard AML Lynx 6x6  
    This speedy cat lacks its Premium counterpart's autoloader, but offers a higher punch per shot.
  2. VIII T-44  
    Mobile chassis with a decent gun boasting 190 mm penetration and 250 damage per shot.
  3. VIII IS-3  
    A classic with a punchy gun, good spaced armor on all sides, and decent mobility and top speed.

Defensive Playstyle
(Premium)

  1. VIII Object 252U / VIII Object 252U Defender  
    A bit of a diva with reliable armor layout, punch gun, and 440 damage per shot.
  2. VIII TS-5
    Great DPM and penetration, with armor that can withstand a lot of punishment, especially in the tunnels of Kraftwerk.
  3. VIII ShPTK-TVP 100  
    Great penetration, decent mobility, and DPM with an excellent choice of shells.

Defensive Playstyle
(Tech Tree)

  1. VIII T32  
    This American boasts great turret armor, view range, and gun depression to play confidently on ridges or from behind cover.
  2. VIII Tiger II  
    Decent frontal armor, a very accurate gun combined with good penetration.
  3. VIII T28  
    Similar to the TS-5, but trades some DPM and gun handling for better accuracy, slightly faster shells, and better camo.

Flexible Playstyle
(Premium)

  1. VIII Progetto M35 mod. 46
    Possibly the most flexible tank in the mode, with great mobility, and a 3 shell autoreloader that allows the choice of burst damage or more conservative play.
  2. VIII Škoda T 56
    High burst damage that punishes any other vehicle, while the armor and mobility help it advance to the next position or keep only the turret exposed when needed.
  3. VIII M54 Renegade
    The impressive combination of firepower, mobility, and armor means it can hold its own ground and act well in most positions.

Flexible Playstyle
(Tech Tree)

  1. VIII P.44 Pantera  
    A solid tech tree vehicle with a 3-shell autoreloader with just a slightly longer clip reload and overall reload than the Progetto M35 mod. 46.
  2. VIII Charioteer  
    A mobile TD with a punch gun that also offers a great penetration as well as two HE shells that can devastate even medium tanks frontally.
  3. VIII Caernarvon  
    Great DPM and gun depression, a fast-firing gun, and solid turret armor can keep you in the battle anywhere on the map.
