Update 1.20: Common Test 2: Vehicle Rebalancing

Commanders!

The second Common Test of Update 1.20 is now available!

We are constantly working on vehicle balance and now want to show you the next iteration of adjustments. Some of these rebalanced vehicles are grouped according to their branches and tiers, while others will not be part of any group but still require some updates to their combat characteristics. Let’s take a closer look.

Vehicle characteristics are not final and may be adjusted after the Common Test.

Improvements to High-Tier Vehicles

In terms of their actual characteristics, the X Centurion Action X and the X Rheinmetall Panzerwagen are not very competitive in Random Battles. They do not perform as well as their same-tier opponents and therefore are not popular. We want to enhance their combat advantages without changing their gameplay conception and key features. Both tanks will receive improvements in firepower and shooting comfort.

Centurion Action X

This tank will receive improvements to reload time (8 s instead of 8.6 s) and dispersion during movement, as well as on hull and turret traverse. Plus, its forward speed will be slightly increased from 53 km/h to 55 km/h.

Rheinmetall Panzerwagen

Its reload and aiming times will be reduced from 9 s to 8 s and from 1.6 s to 1.4 s, respectively. We will also improve the dispersion at 100 m from 0.36 m to 0.33 m, as well as during movement and on hull and turret traverse.

To make these changes consistent with the parameters of the surrounding vehicles in their branches, we will also reduce the dispersion of the following tanks:

The X T57 Heavy Tank and the X Rinoceronte can compete on equal footing with other heavy tanks, but their performance can be even better. These tanks will receive slight improvements to make them feel even more confident in battle.

Т57 Heavy

The reverse speed will be increased from 12 km/h to 14 km/h, and the aiming time will be improved from 2.9 s to 2.7 s. We will also slightly reduce its dispersion during movement and on hull traverse.

Rinoceronte

The reverse speed will be increased from 12 km/h to 15 km/h. We will also strengthen its turret armor and increase the velocity of the special HEAT shell.

Improvements to Individual Tier VI and VII Vehicles

The next batch of medium Tier VI and VII vehicles with insufficient performance also requires some updates to their characteristics. Over time, their popularity in Random Battles has decreased even more, so we want to revive your interest in these vehicles by making them more competitive and effective on the battlefield.

These vehicles will receive a series of various tweaks aimed at improving shooting comfort, mobility, or survivability. We will reveal more detailed technical characteristics in a dedicated article at a later date, so stay tuned!

Changes to the Progetto M40 mod. 65, the T110E3, the AMX M4 mle. 54, and Surrounding Vehicles

All three of these top-tier vehicles feature decent combat advantages and don't have significant drawbacks. They offer very high battle performance and stand out in their classes and tiers. These vehicles are very popular both in Random Battles and Onslaught, and they may sometimes frustrate other commanders playing in same-tier tanks.

To adjust their performance, we want to reduce some of their combat parameters. However, they are still very dangerous opponents with decent performance—don't expect them to become easy prey in battle.

Progetto M40 mod. 65

The reverse speed will be reduced from 23 km/h to 20 km/h. We will also make the upper glacis plate of the X Progetto M40 mod. 65 less durable and increase dispersion during movement and on hull traverse.

T110E3

We will decrease the view range, HP pool, and increase the reload and aiming times of the X T110E3 .

AMX M4 mle. 54

During the previous series of rebalancing changes, this brawler received an over-buff in performance characteristics, which made it slightly superior to same-tier heavy tanks, and it was too popular in Random Battles and Onslaught. Changes to the X AMX M4 mle. 54 affect its 130 mm/45 Model 1935 gun dispersion, reload time, and aiming time.

To make these changes consistent with the characteristics of the surrounding vehicles in their branches, we will also adjust the performance of the following tanks:
