Event Recap: Wargaming at Firstlook, Utrecht – 10-11 October

Wargaming and an estimated more than 20,000 visitors attended the 2 day “lifestyle event” Firstlook 2014 at Jaarbeurs Utrecht in the Netherlands, on the weekend of 10-11October.

We had a team of friendly and helpful staff at Firstlook, including Sabiha (World of Warships & Mobile Community Product Specialist), English Community Managers Brynd and Ectar, and Community Coordinator Grimbru.

Wargaming and other game developers and publishers in attendance at the event ensured there were loads of different PC, console and mobile games to play including our very own World of Tanks for PC and Xbox, as well as iPads featuring our latest game for the mobile platform: World of Tanks Blitz.

It wouldn’t be a Wargaming event without goodies! We were sure to have hundreds of goodie bags ready to give out to anyone who managed the challenge of making 2 kills in-game and surviving to the end of the battle – an easier challenge for some than for others, it seems!

Goodies included limited edition Wargaming Community T-shirts, bonus tank code cards, fridge magnets and Wargaming branded dog tags — which also handily double up as bottle-openers!

Everyone on our team enjoyed visiting Firstlook 2014 and meeting with people from all over the Netherlands and beyond – thanks especially for talking in English with us, we appreciated it!
