Commanders!
It's been 78 years since the Allied landings in Normandy on June 6, 1944, but D-Day remains one of the most important military and historical events of the Second World War. It was a turning point: It marked the opening of the Second Front in Western Europe and is often regarded as the beginning of the end of World War II in Europe.
This year, we commemorate the important date with a special set of missions that have you take Utah and Sword Beaches, two key landing spots of the U.S. and U.K. forces. Roll out in your favorite vehicles of either nation to collect customizations and tokens for the final Operation Overlord mission and bag the Overlord 2D style.
Want to challenge yourself? Keep the battles more historical? Choose one of the many vehicles in the game modeled after tanks that liberated French soil as part of their Normandy campaign.
Available from June 6 at 07:00 CEST through June 13 at 07:00 CEST (UTC+2)

D-Day soon became the largest amphibious invasion in the history of warfare. It called for groundbreaking innovations and new tank designs that could help the Allies secure a foothold in mainland Europe. British Major General Percy Hobart and his "Funnies" helped make it possible.
We've taken a deep dive into what made these unique vehicle adaptations so influential on the Normandy beaches and beyond in June 1944. Their legacy still lives on today!
