Vehicle Overview

After finishing the T-54, you'll have the choice between the T-62A and the Object 140. As those two share the same line, they are also pretty similar in terms of design and performance. However, as the Object 140 is in the spotlight of this special, we'll only focus on that particular Soviet star.

While most Tier X medium tanks deal 390 per shot or at least have an autoloading system, the Object 140's gun only does 320 points of damage. In return, its damage per minute is far superior than most of them. Additionally, the gun is extremely reliable, especially from firing on the move – something that is not too common with Soviet vehicles. We don't recommend trading shots with other vehicles of the same tier though, as all of them deal higher damage than you. Try to fight them in the open instead, or use your good reload speed to shoot back twice before they have reloaded.

Its great mobility allows it to outmanoeuvre most heavy tanks and tank destroyers, and the small profile ensures that enemies will only be able to hit your turret when you stick to their sides. In that case, run your vehicle back and forth to avoid your commander copula getting shot.

Armour-wise, the Object 140 is decent in regards of both the hull and the turret. The first is well-sloped frontally, and bounces quite a lot of incoming fire when angled correctly. However, keep in mind that absorbing damage is not your job as a medium tank. Also, just like the previous vehicles of this line, the ammo rack is very prone to damage, and with an unlucky shot from a high-calibre gun, your turret might end up being designated as a UFO.

Speaking of the turret: it might not be exactly as strong as the T-62A's, but still enough to provide sufficient protection. Another plus is the extra degree of gun depression, which you should use as much as you can – as soon as an enemy vehicle is on higher ground, they will easily penetrate the top of your turret, so watch out!

In order to maximise your performance on the battlefield, we suggest installing the following equipment:

 or

In addition, your crew members should learn the following skills and perks:

Commander

gunner

Driver

loader

As always, please consider the setup for both the equipment and crew skills as suggestions. Feel free to experiment on your own and choose what you think works best for you.

This special will be available from 1 July at 07:00 until 1 August at 07:00 CEST (UTC +2).
