Starting from Tier VI, every vehicle in the French light tank branch shares the similar play style, so what's being explained here for the AMX 13 105, also works for the other vehicles. The AMX 13 105 is often compared to the Bat.Chât. 25 t, as both are mobile, barely armoured, and have an autoloader – in short, they are very similar to each other.
In terms of mobility, it can easily speed around the battlefield, allowing you to support your team wherever you can. While you are a light tank, your main task is not limited to spotting for your team. If given the opportunity, get your gun in the game and support your teammates with your autoloader. When engaging in combat, always make sure you have an escape route once you have to reload.
With its 3-round clip, it is able to deal about 1,200 damage in just 5.5 seconds; pretty impressive for a light tank, right? Even though it wouldn't be enough to take out most enemy vehicles from 100 to 0, it's enough to seriously cripple a large amount of tanks you meet in battle. Taking a look at penetration value, aiming time, and accuracy, the gun is best used in close or mid-range.
Yes, a Bat.Chât can shoot 5 times, however, it needs to expose itself for much longer (11 seconds), increasing the chances of getting shot at in return. Plus, the reload time of the magazine is longer as well. So while the AMX 13 105 might not have as much burst potential, you are way more flexible with it.
