Epic 30v30 battles are here to rock vast battlefields again! From November 21 through November 28, Frontline will return to World of Tanks for its final launch in 2022. Soon, you’ll be attacking pillboxes and defending them while using a whole array of Combat Reserves to give your side a tactical edge. Barring a few minor changes, the rules, mechanics, and rewards will be the same as in the second Frontline launch, so you’ll feel at home!

Battle Format

There will only be single-tier battles during the third launch of Frontline in 2022. Get your favorite Tier VIII vehicles ready!

Changes to Combat Reserves

During the third launch of Frontline, you will have the tried-and-tested Combat Reserves at your disposal. Their parameters are the same as the last time, except for one change: After you respawn, you will have to wait a bit for the Combat Reserves to be ready for use—for 30% of their nominal cooldown time.

Rental Vehicles

Rental vehicles are the same as those used during the second launch—all “clones” of their respective researchable Tier VIII counterparts with the best modules installed. Crews from vehicles of the same nation and type can be transferred on and off them for free and without penalty. Rental vehicles will be available for the entire duration of Frontline, which is seven days, and they can only be used in this mode.

At the start, you will be able to obtain Frontline rental vehicles for 250,000 each in the Frontline section of the in-game Store. This price will go down as the event progresses.

Progression and Rewards

The Frontline progression will consist of 20 Stages. Upon completing each Stage, you will receive rewards such as Combat Reserve Points, Battle Pass Points, and goodies like bonds, directives, a Universal Manual, and Retraining Orders. The latter can only be obtained in the Frontline mode, and it allows you to change the skills and/or perks of a crew without penalty.
