A project for a heavy coastal defense tank developed by the U.K. immediately after World War II. Two guns on the turret combined with a panoramic reticle and an optical rangefinder would presumably enable the tank to fight on equal terms against amphibious assault support ships. Wide tracks, in turn, were supposed to ensure good crossing capacity. However, due to unreliable and complex suspension, guns of insufficient caliber, and a lack of nuclear protection, the project was terminated.
