How to Spend Your Credits and Gold

Purchase Premium Vehicles

There are more than 200 Premium vehicles in World of Tanks. They are exclusive vehicles that differ from standard Tech Tree vehicles in a number of ways. First of all, you are not able to research them—you must acquire them via the Premium Shop or for a certain amount of gold in-game.

The second important difference is the increased number of credits, XP, and Crew XP earned compared to their standard counterparts, which is a great way to speed up your Tech Tree progress or tank crew training.

Improve Vehicle Stats With Equipment

Equipment is a great way to adjust the four main attributes of a vehicle: firepower, survivability, mobility, and scouting. The number of available equipment slots depends on a vehicle's tier and ranges from one to three slots. Additionally, from Tier VI onwards, every first equipment slot has a dedicated category. Boost your equipment with a bonus when it's of the same category.

Equipment can be purchased for credits in-game and is not specific to a tank. However, certain items are only available for specific tank classes, while other equipment, like Coated Optics, are available to every vehicle. In order to transfer an item from one tank to another, it has to be demounted with gold or a Demounting Kit.

Select an equipment category tab to see more details about the effect and cost of certain equipment. In the equipment description, the first value is the standard effect, and the second value is the increased effect (when the equipment and slot categories match).

Keep a Vehicle Going With Consumables

Consumables need to be acquired individually for every tank. They can usually only be used once per battle and have to be repurchased afterwards. Every tank has consumable slots. The most commonly used consumables are Repair Kit to restore broken tank modules, Fire Extinguisher to stop further damage from an engine fire, and First Aid Kit to heal injured crew members. Each is available in regular and improved versions. Every nation also has an individual food consumable that boosts crew skills and perks. Lastly, there are special consumables (such as Gasoline, Oil, and Removed Speed Governor) that are only available for certain nations and provide an engine boost.

Tip: Keep an eye on the portal for in-game specials with discounts on consumables, and make sure to check the weekly missions and events. Consumables and equipment are popular rewards!
