Type 62
was the second Chinese tank that took on the battlefields of World of Tanks. It was the first light tank of this nation and followed in the tracks of the infamous Type 59. This was no coincidence, as the design of the Type 62 is actually based on the medium tank. The engineers set out to create a new and lighter vehicle, capable of fighting in the mountainous and boggy terrain of South China.
As a result, they built an outstanding example of the light tank class with high DPM, good camouflage values, decent accuracy, and great view range. A versatile fighter that can passively scout for the team or actively pursue its prey.
