This December, our monthly Tech Tree event takes you up the lines of British tank destroyers and Japanese heavy tanks. Use credit discounts, missions, and special offers to race through the tiers and add the hard-hitting FV217 Badger and the hulking Type 5 Heavy to your Garage.

This special lasts all month, until January 5 at 06:00 CET (UTC+1), giving you plenty of time to explore both Tech Tree lines. If you want to speed things up and reach the top of the tree even faster, take advantage of the booster bundles, available in the Premium Shop or in-game until December 20 at 06:00 CET (UTC+1).

A turretless warrior, the FV217 Badger packs a mighty 123 mm gun that's capable of inflicting 3,388 HP/min—the highest DPM in the game to date. It boasts impressive gun handling, aiming time, accuracy, gun depression, and rate of fire, as well as up to 355 mm of formidable frontal armor that lets it shrug off most conventional attacks.

However, sneaky players can exploit the Badger's weaknesses; namely, its relatively weak lower plate or its side and rear armor. Still, despite these shortcomings, the vehicle is a worthy adversary for any team. Either hold down the fort or provide formidable fire support, and you'll be welcomed into even the most ferocious of battles.

The Type 5 Heavy is a tank that literally cannot be overlooked. After all, it's as big as a barn! Conceived as a mobile naval fortress to defend the shores of Japan, this experimental project is huge, well-armed, and heavily armored, albeit slow and cumbersome.

The Type 5 Heavy is the team's shield, with up to 270 mm of hull armor and 280 mm of turret armor. It also packs a 150 mm cannon that's capable of dealing 2,700 DPM. Lead the charge and draw enemy fire, or block a strategically important position, like a choke point, and use its armor to halt the enemy advance.
