The idea to equip a T-28 with a mighty F-30 cannon was an unusual one. So, it comes as no surprise that the result, the IV T-28E with F-30 is a bit of an outlier not only among Soviet medium tanks. But breaking with the norm has its perks, however trade-offs like an uncommon crew setup should not be neglected.

Something that also can’t be neglected is the lack of agility–but who needs to be fast when you can hit incredibly hard? The 85 mm F-30 gun is where this medium tank stands out the most. An alpha punch of 160 with AP shells leaves even some tank destroyers in the dust and the penetration is among the best for Tier IV. But the real gems that will be the downfall of your adversaries are the HE shells. A whopping 280 points of damage with nice penetration will be the demise of many who cross your path. Make sure to always have a few of these exceptional explosives aboard.

Unfortunately, the reload time is also outstanding–as one of the slowest. So, make sure that every shot counts after you’ve added this collector’s gem to your Garage.
