World of Tanks: Five Years of Development

It has been five full years since World of Tanks made its debut in the video game industry. During that time, the game evolved significantly, and if you compared World of Tanks today with the release version, you’d probably think they are two completely different products! All this amazing progress was possible thanks to your continuous support! Thanks to you, the game continues to grow, bringing you more exciting tank battle action every year!

In order to thank you for sticking with us for all these years, we have prepared a small gift and a sweet two-part special for you to enjoy! Whet your appetite with the prelude then move on to the main event.

The Prelude

The first part of the special will consist of 3 special missions and be available from Wednesday 12 August at 07:10 until Monday 17 August at 07:00 CEST (UTC +2):

A Tank for Everybody!
Reward	BT-7A, Soviet Tier III light tank 1 garage slot
Requirements	Once per account
Conditions	Play a battle

 

World of Tanks Is Fun!
Reward	1 x Personal Reserve: +5% XP Duration: 6 hours Expiration date: none
Requirements	Tier V and above Random Battles only Once per day
Conditions	Win a total of 10 battles

 

Survival Package
Reward	5 x Large Repair Kit 5 x Large First Aid Kit 5 x Large Fire Extinguisher 1 x garage slot
Requirements	Once per account
Conditions	Complete the mission ”World of Tanks Is Fun!” a total of 4 times

 

Main Event

 

The main part of the special will be available from Friday 14 August at 07:10 until Monday 17 August at 07:00 CEST (UTC +2):

Conditions	Win a battle Be in the top 10 players on your team by base experience earned (bonuses for the first victory, premium account, etc., will not be counted to determine the rankings).
