Behind the Styles

In the spring of 1945, a specialized pioneer crew in their IX E 75 received orders to go on a highly classified mission. Bolstered by infrared searchlights, drilling equipment, a flamethrower, and other search-and-rescue items, they made their way toward an undisclosed location in Northern Europe.

On their way back, word reached them that Allied troops had crossed into Germany and closed in on Berlin from all directions. They needed to avoid drawing attention to complete their mission, but when a distress call from a VIII Tiger II reached them on the outskirts of the capital, the crew decided to head into the city and intervene.

Cut off from their Kampfgruppe and under enemy fire, the Tiger II crew managed to fight off their adversaries but got trapped between rubble and wreckage. With no chance of freeing themselves, the E 75 crew's assistance was much appreciated. After patching their battered heavy tank with parts and pieces from destroyed American vehicles, the two crews teamed up to fight another day.

Rheinmetall Skorpion Offers

Available from September 30 at 07:00 CEST through October 7 at 07:00 CEST (UTC+2)

Any specimen that can survive the harsh perils of the desert should have no trouble on the battlefield. Like its arachnid namesake, the VIII Rheinmetall Skorpion is a nimble and deadly predator, ready to strike at a moment's notice.

It boasts an incredible gun with 490/490/630 HP of damage per shot that scoffs at most armor—also thanks to its great 246/311/65 mm penetration and impressive 2,409 DPM. That potential impact alone is the mark of a sharp predator, but with top accuracy and a 2.1 s aiming time, its turret-mounted gun makes for a wicked sniper.

Positioning is key for sharpshooters hoping to tear chunks out of their opponents, and with a top speed of 60 km/h and good acceleration, this sniper can scope out the very best nests. As a larger target with rather poor armor, this destroyer is more offensive than defensive, making mobility the key to surviving and surprising other predators on the battlefield.
