Commanders!
While Hollywood fame may have gone to the head of the VI M4A3E8 Fury , the "Easy Eight" is also renowned for playing an important role in Allied victory at the end of the Second World War. As the British were making developments in the M4 Sherman, the Americans were also busy and hard at work developing their own new-and-improved Sherman variant.
Like the British, they saw the significance of installing a new turret and gun to compete with the German Tiger I and Panther. This upgrade is reflected in-game by a gun with excellent DPM, great handling, and an incredibly strong mantlet. What emerged in real life was the E8 variant, or "Easy Eight," immortalized in the 2014 film, Fury. Learn more about the tank's development in the video below.

Sergeant War Daddy's variant of the Sherman tank saw its World of Tanks debut back in 2014 for the release of the blockbuster movie, Fury. The now-legendary VI M4A3E8 Fury did justice to its historic counterparts—three M4 Shermans at the command of Sergeant Lafayette G. "War Daddy" Pool that destroyed 270 enemy vehicles in just 79 days—and has become an icon in its own right.
Take advantage of good gun handling, an excellent 2,090 DPM, and –10 degrees of gun depression to aim for just such an incredible record. With improved maneuverability over the standard Sherman and good dispersion while moving, this highly dynamic tank has all the tools to be the star of your battles.
