World of Tanks Hits 40 Million Registered Users
World of Tanks is becoming increasingly popular and keeps attracting more and more players. Therefore, it is with great pleasure that we can announce today that we have now reached 40 million registered users worldwide! With this new milestone we have increased the number of virtual tank players by 20 million in only half a year, effectively doubling our player base in comparison to early 2012.
In addition to that, we’re happy to report that our European server peaked yesterday at 120,000 concurrent players. In Russia, we also managed to set a new record, amassing over 500,000 unique players on one server at the same time.
These staggering numbers could not have been reached without your constant support and dedication to the game. We at Wargaming are very proud to have such loyal fans and want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of our players for making World of Tanks such a success!
