Wargaming.net and World of Warplanes nominated for European Games Awards

We are very pleased to announce that we have been nominated for awards in the European Games Awards!  Last year, World of Tanks won the award for ‘Best European Online Game’.  This year Wargaming.net has been nominated for ‘Best European Publisher’ and World of Warplanes has a nomination for ‘Most Wanted Online Game’.

The European Games Awards are specifically tailored for games which have been developed in Europe.  The Awards are public choice, which means that all the winners are chosen by the public through a voting system

Other than the ‘Most Wanted’ category, all the games nominated must have been developed in major parts in a European county and they must have been released within the year before the Awards Ceremony.

The award ceremony will be held in Cologne, Germany on the 14th August and it is then that the winners will be announced.  Votes are taken right up to the day before, so everything could always change!

The European Games Awards website shows the full list of categories along with who has been nominated for each one.  It also shows the current percentage of votes that each game has received so you can see straight away who is winning!

If you want to vote, you will first need to register for the European Games Awards website and then you will be able to cast your vote!  You could even win a pair of tickets to the Awards ceremony itself!

We are absolutely delighted to be nominated for these awards and wish to thank the organisers of the European Games Awards for selecting us again.  Most of all though, we want to thank you – our players for making us so highly regarded in Europe and beyond!
