These are 16 new vehicles that expand several Tech Trees and add a fresh layer of tactical depth with unique Special Mechanics and a new upgrade system. Watch the video to dive into the Tier XI highlights with commentary from our Creative Director. And read on for a breakdown of the next evolution of high-tier armored warfare.

Enter Tier XI

Tier XI takes your Tech Trees beyond Tier X, introducing 16 new vehicles: 15 across different lines, and 1 as a Personal Missions campaign reward. And each formidable machine brings more than raw stats. They redefine what top-tier vehicles can do on the battlefield.

Special Mechanics

Every Tier XI vehicle has a unique, individual mechanic, tailored to deepen tactical choices while staying true to core World of Tanks gameplay.

A completely new Upgrade System

Tier XI sees purely positive upgrades without trade-offs, and continuous enhancements to match your playstyle.

Three exclusive new Customization Types

A Stat Tracker that counts destroyed opponents, Volumetric 2D styles add a textured surface finish, and Gun Sleeves—a new 3D attachment exclusive to Tier XI.

Seamless Advancement

Tier XI vehicles are direct successors to iconic Tier X lines, with the exception of the Personal Mission reward, Black Rock. They continue each line's established gameplay style, without any complicated extra branches or convoluted requirements. Unlocking these giants feels natural and rewarding.

Earn 325,000 XP in a Tier X vehicle and spend 7,400,000 Credits to purchase a Tier XI vehicle.

Evolving Progression

The new top-tier vehicles introduce a brand-new modular upgrade system exclusive to Tier XI. They don't use traditional Field Modifications like Tier VI to Tier X, but an upgrade tree that offers only benefits—without penalties or tough choices.

Upgrade nodes come in small (10,000 XP), large (20,000 XP), and final (25,000 XP) variants, with larger nodes significantly boosting your vehicle's unique mechanic. The system uses a linear, Tech-Tree-like structure. Unlock up to 25 upgrade nodes and tune your vehicle to your liking. Emphasize firepower, mobility, or survivability, unlock alternate equipment loadouts, change slot types, and enhance your Special Mechanic.

Elite Status

Eventually, you'll complete the entire progression tree, but the order is up to you, letting you tailor your vehicle's strengths to your favorite way of fighting.

Once all progression nodes are unlocked, your Tier XI vehicle achieves Elite status. From there, battles will increase your Elite level, unlocking exclusive visual customizations such as:

Volumetric Styles
Gun Sleeves
Stat Tracker

Volumetric Styles

A new type of 2D style that adds a textured appearance to your vehicle's surface for a striking, three-dimensional look.

Gun Sleeves

A new type of 3D attachment that adds distinctive visual elements to the barrel of an Elite Tier XI vehicle. Each Gun Sleeve is a mark of your dedication and commitment, and unique to its vehicle.

Stat Tracker

A dynamic, in-game counter mounted directly on your Tier XI vehicle that displays the total number of enemies it has destroyed. It updates in real time after each confirmed destruction.

A Closer Look at Tier XI

Let's shine a spotlight on one truly towering vehicle to better understand what Tier XI brings to the battlefield. Taschenratte is Germany's ultra-heavy evolution of the Maus and a perfect example of how Special Mechanics work at this new tier.

Built for unmatched survivability, the Taschenratte boasts a huge health pool, reinforced armor, and a unique Secondary Weapon System. These two additional tactical guns fire HE shells to break tracks, disable modules, or finish off enemies while your main gun reloads—perfect for holding lanes, stopping pushes, or punishing flankers.

Every Tier XI vehicle has its own Special Mechanic. Some are active tools, others are passive effects or situational buffs that trigger in response to specific gameplay conditions. Each one introduces a new layer of tactical depth tailored to the vehicle's role and playstyle without overcomplicating core combat. And thanks to Tier XI's new upgrade system, you can hone your vehicle's strengths even sharper.
