Want to be the first to explore all the latest maps, Commanders?

Recon Mission is a limited event that allows you to play on maps that are still in development so that you can influence their final appearance. Each of the three Stages of this event will last seven days and feature three new maps. The gameplay experience on these maps is almost finalized, but the visuals may undergo further changes before release. Your feedback and the statistics we obtain will help us understand what balance adjustments and other final refinements are needed.

Rules

Battles are fought in Tier VIII–X vehicles only. There are no restrictions regarding vehicle type. Two teams of 15 players fight under Standard Battle rules.

Economy

Like in Random Battles, playing in this mode will net you credits, bonds, and all types of experience. Battle results will be counted towards Random Battle statistics.

Missions

You can earn Battle Pass Points, medals, Marks of Excellence, and Mastery Badges, as well as complete any missions, except for Personal Missions and clan tasks, in Recon Mission battles.

The maps that are the most popular with the community will be prioritized for addition to the Random Battles map pool in future updates. Try them all out and cast your vote for the maps you like the most and least in each Stage to earn rewards, including exclusive medals and camouflage, Personal Reserves, and days of WoT Premium Account!

The area around the waterfall offers many positions for gameplay at any combat distance, which means any vehicle type can fight effectively here. However, heavy tanks will feel especially comfortable in this direction.

The central mountain is approachable from both sides. Getting there takes quite a long time due to the significant elevation changes, but it offers vantage points that make it possible to provide significant fire support to allies on other flanks.

The area around the stone arch is a good place for vehicles with favorable gun depression angles and solid turrets.

Take on sniper positions to repel attacks of enemy heavy vehicles, watch maneuvers of enemy light tanks in the center of the map, and control the approach route to the mountain.

The north beach is a fairly open area. This area is the domain of fast and maneuverable vehicles moving from cover to cover.

The river passing through the center of the island is quite exposed to enemy fire from various positions on the map. This is a risky path behind enemy lines.

Massive cliffs provide excellent cover from SPG fire, allowing slow and heavily armored vehicles to effectively push through enemy defense lines in this direction.

The sandy spit in the south is a convenient place to cover heavy vehicles fighting among the rocks.

Open area to hunt for heavy vehicles in the central part of the map. This area is most suitable for light tanks and vehicles with good gun depression angles.

Broken ice in the center of the map blocks most of the SPG shots. At the same time, this area is located in the center of the map, which can influence combat in many other areas.

The mining complex on the hill is a good starting position for attacks in fast vehicles supported by assault heavy tanks or tank destroyers.

Area for sniper positions. It allows for holding back enemy attacks, supporting allies in their directions, or defending your own base.
