A moment of glory before the countdown! Arriving with Update 2.4, Spotlight turns the pre-battle sequence into a cinematic reveal of three players from your team, and you could take center stage!
Watch Spotlight come to life on maps like Himmelsdorf, Nordskar, and Highway, with different vehicles, customizations, and surroundings setting the scene. Some feature audio effects, so turn the sound ON for the full experience.
Before each battle, three players from your team enter the Spotlight. The central player takes the lead, displaying their performance statistics and, if owned, a pet.
Anyone can make it into the Spotlight. Your current-session results, account performance, and vehicle customization (or a combination of these) can increase your chances of taking a spot. Elite level and your pet count too. Your non-historical customization settings apply to Spotlight.
Spotlight appears in Random Battles for Tier V+ vehicles, with its duration adapting to the battle loading time. It's followed by the standard pre-battle screen, letting you review team lineups and the map. You can press Esc to skip the Spotlight.
Take a quick look at the countdown, featured players, statistics, and customization settings in Spotlight. You'll see either the full or shortened version, depending on when you load into battle. After Spotlight, the standard pre-battle screen appears at least 10 seconds before the battle starts, showing team lineups, the map, and other battle info. If you load in with less than 10 seconds left, Spotlight may not appear at all.
Be in the Spotlight!
