[Update] 1.6.1: Common Test Is Here!

Update 27/09: the fourth Common Test of Update 1.6.1. is now available to you, commanders. Make the most of it now and check our latest patch notes below!

Within Common Test 4 of Update 1.6.1., the Trade-In functionality will be added to test the new interfaces. It will be available starting from October 1.

During the first Common Test of Update 1.6.1 you take advantage of the new functionality of multinational vehicles. We’re also adding two new customization sets, containing unique historical looks for your vehicles. Finally, you have the opportunity to try out new Ranked Battles mechanics that will be implemented in the next Season. Multinational Vehicles

If you are interested in tanks, you’re probably aware of the unusual history of the fabulous T-34-85 Rudy. In our game, it fights in the ranks of the Soviet Union, but during World War II, this tank was at the disposal of the Polish units fighting in the Red Army. The T-34-85 Rudy was widely known thanks to the TV show “Four Tank-men and a Dog,” and made a significant contribution to Polish culture.

In Update 1.6.1, you can take advantage of the remarkable functionality of multinational vehicles. The first multinational tank will be the legendary T-34-85 Rudy. We'll credit this tank to all players participating in the testing, so you can try out this new functionality during the Common Test.

Technically, it would be the same tank, with identical battle characteristics, but belonging to a different nation (Poland or the Soviet Union). You can instantly switch between them at any time in your Garage. You will only need to move the Polish crew to it, load ammo and mount additional equipment, if necessary.

You cannot switch to an alternative version of the tank during battle. The choice of nation is only available in the Garage, before you roll out. Your configuration of the tank for another nation (crew, mounted equipment) can be saved.

This feature offers interesting opportunities, allowing you to boost crews from different nations and complete battle missions available for each nation with the same tank.

We really want to hear your feedback on multinational vehicles. If you like it, we’ll consider the possibility of introducing other multinational tanks in the future.

New Styles

You can never have too many unique custom looks! Together with Update 1.6.1, we’re adding two new customization sets, containing:

  • A unique historical 2D style for each nation. It will be available for gold in your game client, for all vehicle types.
  • A unified historical 2D "Jaeger" style for all nations, also available for gold, for all vehicle types.

We are continuing our consistent work on customization and development of new styles to make your vehicles even more refined, so stay tuned! 

Ranked Battles

The new Season of Ranked Battles is getting closer, and you already have the opportunity to experience it during the first Common Test.

After looking through your feedback, we found that the progression system in the last Season turned out to be too challenging, even for seasoned, skillful players. This Season, we’ve reworked this system, making it more achievable.  Let’s take a quick look at the most significant changes Ranked Battles have received.

  • Now there will be a fixed number of battles in the qualification.
  • We’ve reworked the distribution of chevrons.
  • We're also adding additional permanent Ranks.

Finally, we’ll make some balance changes to the system of role experience.

Pay attention: the settings and specific values of Ranked Battles that are relevant for the Common Test may change after the official start of the Season. As always, feel free to share your feedback on the upcoming changes.

Main Changes

Trade-In (will be available from Tuesday 01.10.2019)

Added the Trade-In functionality to the Store. There will be a dedicated page with a list of all vehicles that can be obtained within the program, as well as the functionality to select a vehicle to be exchanged. Players will also be able to see how the cost of the desired vehicle decreases considering the deducted cost of the vehicle that they selected. In the Preview screen of the vehicle being purchased, players will be able to add a vehicle for exchange to see the resulting cost.

Vehicles for Bonds

Within this Common Test iteration, we start testing the technical implementation of the vehicle for bonds functionality.
