Twilight of the Gods starts on 2 September! Check out the updated rules and the infographic below to learn how the event will work for your clan.
A great event called “Twilight of the Gods” is coming. This August, the wolf Fenrir will swallow the Sun and legions of the Light and Dark will clash in an epic battle. Only the best of you, the true warriors, will get through the challenges and earn the right to fight alongside Odin in the last battle against absolute evil to prevent the world’s collapse.
World of Tanks is proud to announce the new Clan Wars event “Twilight of the Gods” which will be launched soon. Scandinavian mythology and tanks will provide outstanding action for all participating clan players! Besides gold and unique event medals, all clans will have the opportunity to fight for a premium tank.
A first glimpse at the future
The map designed for “Twilight of the Gods” will be launched on 21 August in test mode. On the day of the event launch, which is scheduled to be 2 September, the map will be wiped and progress refreshed:
- All actions made by players will be nullified.
- The income for ransacked provinces will be restored.
- All chips and Headquarters on the “Twilight of the Gods” map will be available for the first turn in the scope of the event.
During the event, clans will be able to switch from one Global Map to another or leave the Global Map.
“Twilight of the Gods” lasts for eleven days. Vehicles up to Tier VIII can take part in the event. (During the test phase, however, vehicles up to Tier X will be able to take part.)
All clans that participate in the event will earn Victory Points.
The top 20 clans by Victory Points will get gold:
- 1st place – 500,000 in Clan Treasury;
- 2nd place – 300,000 in Clan Treasury;
- 3rd place – 100,000 in Clan Treasury;
- 4th-8th place – 50,000 in Clan Treasury;
- 9th-12th place – 30,000 in Clan Treasury;
- 13th-20th place – 10,000 in Clan Treasury.
The top 300 players in the Alley of Fame will get the Chinese Tier VIII Premium heavy tank, the 112. If players have this tank in their garage already, they will receive compensation of 12,250and a garage slot.
Players who manage to place from 301 to 4,000 in the Alley of Fame will get the American Premium medium tank, the T23E3. If players have this tank in their garage already, they will receive compensation of 7,000and a garage slot.
Neither the Chinese 112, nor the American T23E3 are special clan tanks.
Clans who participate in the event will have the opportunity to earn unique medals:
