Clan Wars: Third Season

Clan Warriors,

It is with great pleasure that we are announcing Season three on the Global Map, which will begin on 27 May at 10:00 CEST (UTC+2).. With the introduction of new game mechanics, the battles on the Global Map will be conducted in new ways and give more opportunities to clans. The last battles revealed the strongest clans, but it is now time to defend the titles and give new challenges to your rivals!

What's New?

  • Revolts will be activated on the Global Map.
  • Clan Operations will become available to clans (earn game gold and influence)
  • New earlier Prime Time (19:00 CEST).
Revolts

In Season Three on the Global Map, revolts will be taking place. This will allow clans to expand their set of strategies in their fight for territories.

In addition, the new concept of Resistance will be introduced, located in each regular province. With enough resources, the Resistance can initiate a revolt.

Revolts comply with a number of rules:

  • Revolts can start only in regular provinces. They do not affect auction and landing provinces.
  • Resistance grows daily after the end of the battles for the province.
  • A revolt starts when Resistance reaches its maximum value.
  • After the revolt starts, the province becomes a landing one.
  • The revolt ends with the end of the battles for the province.
  • Immediately after the revolt ends, the resistance and the unrest level are reset to zero.

If a clan owns only one province on the Global map, the unrest level in the province does not increase and resistance does not grow.

Factors affecting resistance growth in a province:

  • Province income: The higher the province income, the faster the Resistance grows. If the province does not provide income, for example after a ransack, then this factor will not enhance the Resistance growth.
  • The number of neighbouring provinces that belong to the same clan: The more neighbouring provinces in possession of the clan, the faster the Resistance grows.
  • The total number of provinces that belong to the same clan: The more provinces the clan owns, the faster Resistance grows.
  • Unrest level: The higher the unrest level in the province, the faster Resistance grows. After the end of the battles for the province, unrest automatically increases by one level under the following conditions:
    • The revolt did not start after the end of the battles.
    • The province is not the only one in the clan’s possession.

In addition, using accumulated influence, clans will be able to raise or lower the unrest level in the provinces, thus making it difficult for competitors to hold large territories on the Global Map.

Clan Operations

During Season Three, clan operations will be conducted on the Global Map. Operations are held on Fronts that meet the requirements of maximum vehicle Tier and number of players per team. Operations have time limits.

As part of the operations, clans will be issued tasks to be performed within a certain time.

Rules for receiving tasks:
  • Immediately after an operation starts on the Front, clans with provinces or participating in the landing tournament, receive all the operation tasks that meet their Elo rating.
  • A clan can submit a landing application or make a bid in a landing auction during an operation in the Front. In this case, the clan receives all the tasks that meet its Elo rating. Battles of the landing tournament are counted when the task progress is calculated.
  • Some tasks are only issued after the accomplishment of the current one.

Clans receive the following awards for completing tasks:

  • Gold
  • Influence

Third Season: General Rules

  • Seasonal Fronts will cover the same area as the last season which is from Scandinavia up to Mediterranean.
  • There will be provinces on the Global Map which can be taken by landings or auctions.
  • The landing and auction provinces location principle has been amended.
  • Re-balanced the profitability of Global Map season fronts.
  • Auctions are enabled.
  • Raising province income is enabled on Tier VIII and X fronts.
  • "Fog of War" is enabled.
  • Ransacks are enabled.
  • Number of landing tournament participants: 64.
  • Maximum number of active landings applications: 3.
  • Clans that already own provinces cannot participate in landing tournaments.
  • Division modules are enabled.
  • Division maintenance cost - free.
  • Penalties for not showing for scheduled battles are applied.
  • With the start of the season, penalties will be reset to zero.

During the first day of the Season, all provinces will be available for landing. After the Prime Time ends, the provinces will be subject to the Season Three General Rules.

  • The number of landing applications during the first day of the Season – 32.
  • A draw during a landing tournament is considered a defeat.
  • Since there will be no province owners during the first day of the Season, the x10 Victory Points coefficient will not be applied.

During the Season, game mechanics and/or settings may be slightly modified, in which case we will inform you in the official portal.

How to Increase Province Income

In the Third Season, the following conditions for increasing province income will be valid. Elo-rating values and province levels are as follows:

Victory Points

Fighting season battles, clans will be able to earn Victory Points that will allow them to qualify for the end of season awards.

1. Victory Points will be awarded according to the following formula:

Victory Points – the total amount of Victory Points after calculation

Base Victory Points – the Victory Points’ coefficient of the current event = 100 for Tier VI, 200 for Tier VIII and 300 for Tier X.

Battle Type C – the Battle type coefficient

Elo C – the Elo-rating coefficient

Team XP – the amount of experience gained by the team in the battle

Battle XP – the amount of experience gained by both teams in the battle

*Percentages refer to the number of clans from the total amount of clans participating in the event. For example, the Season Elite medal will be given to the clan placing in fourth and the top 10% of clans by season results, ranked below them.

In order to receive the reward, you must have participated in at least 5 battles on the respective front and be a member of the clan at the time the season ends.
