Clan Warriors,
We have updated our policy regarding compensation in case of technical issues in Clan Wars and Strongholds. The compensation rules now in effect are as follows:
Rules for giving compensation for technical issues affecting the Clan Wars modes and clan functionality
These rules have been developed to ensure a consistent and quality service for players that participate in battles on the Global Map and in the Strongholds mode.
1. Players may be eligible for compensation in the event of any technical problems with clan functionality, Global Map and Strongholds functionality or World of Tanks gaming servers, which lead to financial or material loss.
2. In Strongholds, compensation is only available for battles attacking and/or defending a Stronghold. There is no compensation for skirmishes.
3. Any compensation may be general or individual.
3.1. Mass compensation for clans will be given in cases where more than 5% of clans participating in battles on the Global Map have been affected by technical problems during the day. The amount of compensation will be the amount of gold equal to 15 times the cost of a day of Premium Account. The gold will be transferred to the clan treasury.
Frozen chips will become available after 24 hours (not later than in next prime time equal to the prime time during which the chips were lost).
For players participating in battles for Strongholds the compensation will be the amount of industrial resources which the clan lost in battles attacking/defending a Stronghold.
If the exact sum of industrial resource which a clan lost cannot be precisely stated, the compensation will be 20% of the maximum Hit Points of the Command Center at the moment of compensation.
Compensation is credited to the Command Center depot one time only. If there’s not enough free space in the depot, the remaining part of the industrial resource will disappear. Clans must ensure the free space needed for the compensation.
3.2. Individual compensation will be given in cases where only a few clans have been affected by technical problems. Separate cases on game servers do not fall under individual compensation (game servers problems are examined only in the scope of mass compensation). The amount of compensation for Global Map participants will be the amount of gold equal to 15 times the cost of a day of Premium Account. The gold will be transferred to the clan treasury.
Frozen chips will become available after 24 hours (not later than in next prime time equal to the prime time during which the chips were lost).
If a clan’s Headquarters is removed due to a technical problem, it will be possible to return it to the map within 24 hours.
4. Mass compensation may be given on Wargaming’s own initiative based on accumulated data concerning any affected clans.
5. Individual compensation may be given following the receipt of player requests through the Customer Support Service.
Requests must be sent no later than 24 hours after an incident.
Clans should also provide as much information as possible about the issues they have faced.
If possible, requests should include battle replays showing the alleged problem.
Clans are obliged to provide screenshots proving that the applicable battle took place (Global Map image, World of Tanks client, etc).
6. Compensation will not be given in the following cases:
- The battle was carried out.
- There were not enough players to participate in the battle.
- Issues with data-centers where our servers are located.
- Internet provider issues.
- Power shutdowns.
- Any other circumstances outside of Wargaming’s control that were not caused by Wargaming.
7. Compensation may be declined where the facts of the problem are not sufficiently defined.
You can always find this information in the Commander's Guide.
