2nd Campaign: Stage III has ended!

Stage III of the Second Campaign has ended. The Campaign Map is now frozen.

Clan Warriors,

The train wagons are almost empty. We hope that you managed to get a solid share of the goods and are looking forward to a new challenge. Prepare yourselves for the new goals awaiting you in the final stage of the Second Campaign!

3rd Stage: Gold Rush

Stage III will last from 4th December until 15th December*. The vehicle tiers reserved for this stage will be: I-X.

*Please note that on the 2nd and 3rd of December there will be a short break in the Campaign to allow you to rest before the new stage goes live. During this period, both maps will be frozen but the ability to leave a map will remain open.

“Gold Rush” will be preceded by a short ‘re-division’ phase, which will turn all provinces into landing zones for the duration of one day. The map will not be wiped in this process, so any provinces you control at the end of Stage II will be in your possession at the beginning of Stage III. In addition, ransacks and revolts will be disabled, espionage and counter-espionage will be removed from the map, and applications for landing zones will be set to 32 (during the stage, special operations will be enabled again and the application limit will be raised to 64). If a landing battle results in a draw during the “Re-division” phase, the attacker will be considered the winner.

During the final Stage, special province areas called Goldfields will appear temporarily on the map. Some of the provinces included in these areas will give their owners Victory Points on a turn-by-turn basis. The Goldfields will consist of multiple provinces, with the key province in the middle and a number of special provinces surrounding it. The latter provinces (called Goldmines) will generate Victory Points, while owning the core province (called the Pot of Gold) will grant the owner a x4 multiplier to the income of all Goldmines owned (in that particular Goldfield). Please note that the Pot of Gold will not generate Victory Points itself – it will only boost the Victory Points output from the connected Goldmines.

These special areas will appear for exactly 4 days at a time. After that time has elapsed, they will disappear and emerge again in a different part of the Map. As expected, this stage will bear witness to a lot of shifts on the Campaign Map, with clans moving from province to province eager to seize control of the Goldfields. Even if you manage to conquer the core province with its surroundings, be cautious – the Pot of Gold, besides granting you enormous bonuses, will also turn into a landing zone on the 1st and the 3rd day! If you’re not careful, you might end up with a rival clan popping up right in the middle of your territory!

Stage Summary:

  • Goldfield’  is a group of special provinces on the Campaign Map
  • 'Goldmine' is a province belonging to a Goldfield and is generating Victory Points
  • Pot of Gold’ is the central province of a Goldfield
  • Only provinces from ‘Goldfields’ generate Victory Points
  • ‘Pot of Gold’ province does not generate Victory Points. It provides a multiplier coefficient to the Victory Points' calculation for clans that own at least one 'Goldmine' in the respective 'Goldfield', beside the ‘Pot of Gold’
  • A ‘Goldfield’ exists for 4 days
  • ‘Pot of Gold’ province becomes a landing zone on the 1st and 3rd day of 'Goldfield’ existence
  • ‘Pot of Gold’ Province is marked with the following icon on the map

Rules regarding Victory Points

During this stage, the only way to earn Victory Points is to own Goldmine provinces. There are two formulas for Victory Points calculation and which one is used depends on whether or not a clan possesses the Pot of Gold province in addition to the Goldmine provinces.

1st formula (valid for clans owning only one or more of the Goldmine Provinces):

VP = 42*X

Where X is the number of Goldmine Provinces owned in the same Goldfield. The calculation refers to the situation in which the core Pot of Gold Province does not belong to the clan.

2nd formula (valid for clans owning one or more of the Goldmine Provinces and the Pot of Gold province in the same Goldfield):

VP = 42*4*X

Where X is the number of Goldmine Provinces owned in the same Goldfield. The calculation refers to the situation in which the core Pot of Gold Province from that Goldfield also belongs to the clan.

Please note that in the case of a clan owning provinces in more than one Goldfield, Victory Points will be calculated separately for each Goldfield.

Victory Points obtained in Stage III cannot be lost in any way. This means that even if a clan loses a Goldmine province, they will still keep the Victory Points generated by that province up to the time at which it was lost. Losing the core province (Pot of Gold) will result in losing the x4 modifier to the Victory Points calculation in that particular Goldfield. If a clan conquers a Goldmine province, it will earn Victory Points starting from the next turn.

The top 3 clans with the highest amount of Victory Points at the end of the Stage will also receive special coefficients for their members’ Fame calculation (Fame obtained only during Stage III):

  • 1st place: x3
  • 2nd Place: x2
  • 3rd Place: x1.5

Rules regarding Fame

During Gold Rush, the stage coefficient for Fame calculation will be 1.0, which means that it will not provide any additional bonuses.

The mainland provinces battle coefficient will remain 5.0

Additionally, there will be two secondary missions that will, if completed, grant you additional coefficients to your Fame Points’ calculation:

Call of Fame

All members of a clan who participate in a battle for any province that belongs to an active Goldfield will be given a 1.1 coefficient to their Fame Points’ calculation for that particular battle.

Please note that this bonus is not applied to encounter battles and battles between tournament applicants.

Corker

All members of a clan (that at start of the battle does not own any province marked as a "Pot of Gold") who participate in a battle against another clan (that at start of the battle owns at least one province marked as a "Pot of Gold") will be given a 1.2 coefficient to their Fame Points’ calculation for that particular battle.

If the conditions of more than one secondary mission are met then the appropriate coefficients should be added together.
