Event: Wicksteed At War 2014

Did you hear that we now have a brand new Mobile Gaming Truck to take to events? Well, on June 14 and 15 Wargaming.net will be taking it to this year’s Wicksteed At War - a military history event at Wicksteed Park, Kettering, Northamptonshire, England.

It would be great to see some of you there! This is the event’s fourth year and planners hope to entertain over 20,000 visitors with WWII battle re-enactments and vehicle displays. You can expect to see Battle of Britain memorial fly overs by a Lancaster Bomber (Saturday) and a Spitfire (Sunday), a Fire engine display, a tank display team, World War II battle re-enactments and vehicle displays.

For the heavy weaponry fans amongst you, the event will also include its first ever firepower demonstration, showing the crowd the difference in noise between a pistol and a tank gun and everything in between.

Aside from the festival this also gives us a great opportunity to meet with our fans and play a few rounds of tanks and planes on the 20 top of the range Alienware PCs and Logitech peripherals that the truck contains.
