Gamescom 2013 is now a mere month away and we are slowly but surely starting to plan for this glorious occasion. As one of the biggest consumer trade shows in the world, gamescom is an absolute must for any video game enthusiast out there. Of course, Wargaming will be in attendance the whole time from August 21st – 25th, to showcase its latest games, talk about future projects and get together with World of Tanks and World of Warplanes players from all around the world!
To give you an idea, take a look at some of the impressions from last year:
we can get to know our players in a more personal manner and meet the people behind the nicknames that we see appearing in the game. We were very happy to receive a lot of positive feedback from our guests after last year’s successful get-together, which is why we want to up the ante this time around, and invite you all for an even greater party during gamescom 2013! Read on to find out all the details of this event and how you can be part of it!
The party will be happening on Friday 23rd August from 20:00 until midnight.
Gedankengut Bar & Restaurant
Roonstrasse 88
50674 Köln
Germany
(see map)
The number of invitations we can give out is limited to 250. Overall, including the Wargaming staff, there will be well over 300 people attending the party.
Registrations will open on Thursday 1st August at 17:00 CEST. Invitations (limited to 250) will be issued on a ‘First come, first served’ basis, so you had better be quick if you want to get on our exclusive guest list.
Once the registration period is over, we’ll email all those players who managed to land an invitation. A list of all invited players will also be published on the forums.
As the party will take place in a real bar, a minimum age of 18 years and a valid ID are required. You also need to have an active Wargaming.net account to be able to receive your invitation.
If last year’s Community Party is any indication, you can look forward to a great evening of talking about your favourite games in a very relaxed atmosphere. Meet an awesome crowd of World of Tanks and World of Warplanes fans from all ages, share wartime stories and find new people to play with in the game, or buddies to hang out in real life. Our Wargaming community crew will be there along with plenty of folks from other departments as well to listen to your feedback and answer your questions about the game.
Of course, soft drinks and the original Cologne “Kölsch” beer will be on the house all night long, to help with the expected summer heat.
As you can see, we have tried to think of everything!
We’re looking forward to meeting you there, Commanders!
