Video Story Contest - The Results

Tankees,

The video replay contest is over and the votes have been counted.

We want to thank you for your participation. The high quality of the submissions made the contest difficult to judge and we had to take some tough decisions.

Here are some details about how the votes were cast.
First, the community team as a whole picked the five finalists.  After this initial narrowing-down, we sent the top 5 to be judged by all of our European Wargaming office team. Every member of our office staff outside of the community team could vote for one of the top 5. The one with the most votes at the end became our winner, receiving the Alienware M17X notebook, whilst the other runners-up in the top 5 each win an iPad 3.
Some videos had to be disqualified because they contained copyrighted content. The safest way to use music was to go with music from the game, but many people managed to find creative solutions. There were a number of videos that did not get approved because they broke the rules and we wanted to keep the competition fair. We still appreciate your energy and enthusiasm but all submissions had to be within the rules.

We had a lot of laughs, chuckles and moments of sheer awe when going through your submissions. There were funny voices, memorable gameplay moments, humour, historical events recreated and above all a lot of creativity.

 

So here is the final ranking with links to each video as submitted. Within the next two weeks, the winners will receive a private message from the email address contests_eu@wargaming.net. They will need to reply as soon as possible with their personal address information so that we can organize shipping of the prizes.

Please note that if you are amongst the winners, you will have to wait for this private message from contests_eu@wargaming.net to reply to with your personal information. We will not respond to unsolicited emails sent to that email address.
