T26E3 Eagle 7

Having fought a Panther in what might be the most famous tank duel ever, the T26E3 Eagle 7 is a version of the iconic M26 Pershing. It comes with similar qualities as the original vehicle on Tier VIII, but since the Eagle 7 is a tier lower, there are obviously some minor differences you need to pay attention to. Are you ready to explore what this legend is all about? Let's go!

Gameplay

With a similar armour layout to the M26 Pershing, you can bet this American beast will prove to be a tough nut to crack... if you're hull-down, obviously. The hull is still rather weak, and won't protect you too much from incoming fire. So to make the most of what you have, hide your hull as much as you can, and only show the tough turret of yours to make it as difficult as possible for the enemy to take you down.

The Eagle 7 sacrifices mobility for protection and firepower. It will have a tough time accelerating to its top speed, and the power-to-weight ratio reminds one of a faster heavy tank. Circling other vehicles is a no-no. You'll still get to the action fast enough, but you'll have to adjust to the flow of battle more in advance and get moving earlier to reach the crucial positions in time

Also note the superb view range, allowing you to spot enemy tanks much earlier than most other medium tanks.

Taking a look at its 90 mm gun, the Eagle 7 definitely has a lot to show. On Tier VIII, its damage per shot might be just average but one tier lower this is a completely different story. The damage per minute isn't too bad either. Same goes for the accuracy, aiming time, and penetration value, so all in all, you'll fare pretty well against most opponents you face. Just remember to only show your thick turret while you dish out the damage, and you'll be golden!
