Everyone knows the German Rheinmetall Skorpion G, a terrifying machine with powerful armament and great mobility, but sacrificing survivability for it. In-game, the SU-130PM is the Soviet equivalent of it, sharing many traits with the German Waffenträger line but with its own nation's twist. So what is this bad boy about? 

Gameplay

We can all agree on the fact that the SU-130PM's armour is almost non-existent, so your only means of protection are the small profile and the very good camouflage value. This in combination with a turret means that you won't have to turn your vehicle; re-aiming is easier and no camouflage penalty will be applied. To keep it short, avoid getting shot at all cost, even HE shells will penetrate easily.

There is more to mention on the turret: it is not fully rotatable, which means you cannot show your rear to the enemy, shoot, and then run. The gun depression is pretty good, further amplified by the small size. Don't take it too far though, it's still paper-thin.

You can also count on its good acceleration and high top speed to get to places quickly. The SU-130PM is not limited to playing as a sniper. Keep in mind however, that the focus will be on you, as you're a squishy target. A good mindset to have is to deal more damage than you take in an encounter.

Now, the 130 mm gun on this tank is a real treat and may surprise you when it comes to several characteristics that are unlike other Soviet tanks. The damage is pretty high per shot, and even the reload time is fair. Use it to bully weaker targets but stay away from guns with high damage as you should not expose yourself for such a long time. Sniping is a viable option if the target is at mid-range. Longer-distance targets aren't as easy to hit, especially if they are not fully visible.

With this set of equipment, you'll focus on dealing damage over mid to long distances. With your superior view range and camouflage value, you'll be able to take out other targets with a lower chance of yourself getting spotted. Be careful still, you never know how high your opponent's view range might be.

To further enhance the high camouflage value, we recommend you go for the Concealment skill first. Then, the second column helps you in different situations, such as aiming faster or better reload speed when you're in a pinch. Brothers in Arms gives another nice bonus to many parameters of the tank – definitely a must-have.

Adrenaline Rush

Decreases the gun reload time by 10% if your vehicle's HP drops below 10%.

Concealment

Increases the camouflage value of your vehicle.

Controlled Impact

Increases the ramming damage dealt and decreases damage taken by ramming.

Deadeye

Increases the chance of landing a critical hit.

Designated Target

Keeps targetes vehicles visible for two more seconds.

Eagle Eye

Allows you to identify damaged/destroyed modules as well as injured crew members of an enemy vehicle by hovering your mouse over it for several seconds.
