M41 Walker Bulldog

As one of the US Army's main combat vehicles in the 1950s and 60s, it's only fair to say that the M41 Walker Bulldog is a true classic. In the game, it resembles a well-balanced vehicle, which you can adapt to your playstyle, whether you like playing as a scout or as a support vehicle.

Gameplay

As usual for light tanks, there isn't any armour to speak of, and pretty much any shell hitting your vehicle will penetrate its skin. For a light tank, the M41 Walker Bulldog has a large silhouette that makes it easier for the enemy to hit you, and it also means your camouflage rating is lower than your usual light tank. Check out the recommended crew skills to counteract the latter.

Use the great gun depression value to hide most of your vehicle. Take shots at the enemy taking advantage of your turret, which is a difficult target to hit.

Judging by its size, you wouldn't expect it to move so quickly around the battlefield. It features high acceleration and top speed, thanks to its powerful engine. Together with a very good view range, you have the choice between spotting actively or passively, or you can just play it like a support vehicle – it's up to you in the end.

Its 76-mm gun has a beautiful balance between damage per shot, reliability, and rate of fire. With this in mind, it can be difficult to find a distinct strong point that makes it stand out from other vehicles. Don't concentrate too much on trading shots or using your damage per minute here. Before attacking, make sure that the potential damage you deal or the tank you destroy outweighs the risks.

Our recommendation is to switch playstyles, depending on the situation on the field. Take the chances when they appear during the battle – spot, assist, and shoot enemy vehicles if you can – to rack up damage and assisted damage over the course of the battle.
