Gameplay
Normally, we would start a guide by introducing the armour layout. However, the KJP 105 is not about that – in other words, do your best to not get hit at all. After all, it's a sniper tank and needs to be played as such. Let's take a look at its mobility: the acceleration is on par with faster medium tanks, but the top speed is similar to a light tank's. Get to favourable positions quicker, where you might be able to intercept enemy light tanks early in the game.
Of course, this German has a lot of other qualities to offer, for example, an excellent camouflage value, allowing you to stay hidden more efficiently; focus on that with the proper selection of equipment and crew skills. The same goes for the view range, despite the mediocre base value.
The pride of this German tank destroyer, however, is its 105 mm gun, which has pretty much everything one could ask for. Let's start with the APCR shells: the KJP 105's standard ammo features both, high penetration power and shell velocity, complimented by the already top-notch accuracy. And, should you face the biggest and thickest threats, a well-aimed HEAT shell will do the trick. Add good damage per shot and reload time, as well as excellent aiming time, and you can rest assured that the gun won't let you down.

To make your vehicle as efficient as possible, you need to focus on two things:
- Dishing out damage: Mount a Tank Gun Rammer to reduce the reload time, and consequently increase your potential damage per minute.
- Stay invisible: While the Binocular Telescope increases your view range significantly, the camouflage net improves your camouflage value. All this helps you to spot and shoot the enemy way before they can detect you in return.

It's important for this tank to be as hard to spot as possible, so the Camouflage skill should be your top priority. The second column of skills improves a variety of aspects of the KJP 105; lower accuracy loss during gun traverse, better driving performance on medium/soft terrain, and a sturdier ammo rack. Brothers in Arms will grant a small but always useful bonus to most parameters of your tank.
