With the huge transformation of the E 50 after the Panther II, the E 50 Ausf. M is a slightly better variant of the Tier IX vehicle. If you liked the previous vehicle, you'll have just as much fun with the top-tier tank.
Gameplay
As the E 50 Ausf. M is almost like the previous tank, its strengths are strong overall armour, especially at the front, and high survivability. However, on the Tier X vehicle both the upper and lower frontal plates are now angled better, and the latter has gotten a bit thicker as well. Amplify this by angling your vehicle, and you can be as tough as a heavy tank. However, the turret has seen no improvements, and the angle is still as flat as ever – it's now the weakest spot of this tank.
In terms of mobility, its acceleration improved quite a bit but is still at the lower end of the medium tank spectrum. Nonetheless, it's much more comfortable to move around now, including ramming – we may be talking about it a lot but once you see a Bat.Chât. 25 t pop from 100 to 0% (true story) in one go, you will too.
Its 10.5 cm Kw.K L/52 Ausf. K gun is very similar to the E 50's, except the penetration power is higher. That is because it's now firing APCR shells by default, which also indirectly means it's more accurate, thanks to their superior shell velocity. Lead-aiming should be fairly easy under these circumstances. Because nothing else has improved, the gun is strong at sniping but lacks in many other categories, especially DPM. Overall, either push other medium tanks or support other flanks by sniping. This tank performs at any distance.

As with most vehicles, the Repair skill is the first you should go for, mainly to get the tracks back up faster, should they get destroyed. Other skills improve the gun stabilisation, the view range, and the ammo rack durability. Brothers in Arms gives an additional bonus to the vehicle's performance, which is always useful.
