Main Changes
New American Medium Tank Branch
A new branch of American medium tanks will be added in Update 2.1.1. It is researched from the T20 (Tier VII), begins with the Ares 75 (Tier VIII), and ends with the Ares 90 C (Tier XI).
Like the rest of the branch, the Ares 90 C is equipped with an autocannon featuring a heat-management system: the Thermal Overheat Control Autocannon. The system enables the gun to fire continuously without requiring reloading. Each shot generates heat: the higher the gun's temperature, the more some of its parameters change. Continuous firing will cause the gun to overheat, preventing further firing until it cools down.
All vehicles in the branch also feature the reserve track mechanic.
New Tier XI Vehicles
Two new researchable Tier XI vehicles that continue existing vehicle branches have been added to the Tech Tree with non-final characteristics:
PTZ-78 — Chinese tank destroyer, researched after the WZ-113G FT. It features Sequential Rocket Thrusters that boost acceleration, mobility, and maneuverability for several seconds. The left and right thrusters can operate independently, allowing for faster hull traverse without compromising reverse movement capability.
STK-2 — Japanese heavy tank, researched after the Type 71. It features Active Gun Cooling: its gun heats up when fired, which negatively affects its accuracy. After each shot, it begins cooling down and returning to its base parameters during reload, allowing for more accurate firing.
Post-Battle Results Screen
A new Mission Progress tab has been added to the post-battle results screen. Next to the tab, an animation with mission names is shown, along with a counter of missions completed in the previous battle.
The Mission Progress tab displays detailed information on both completed missions (at the top of the list) and missions for which progress was made in battle. Players can navigate to the corresponding sections for full lists of missions of each type, as well as to the vehicle and module research screens.
The following types of progression are supported:
- New or maximum vehicle Elite Level
- Battle Pass Stage and Chapter progress
- Tank Academy missions
- Regular missions
- Daily, Weekly, Bonus, Premium, and Epic missions
- The Sector 3 Personal Missions campaign
