1. How can I become a Contributor?
To become a Contributor, apply through our application process here. Once you have successfully submitted your application, it will be carefully reviewed by a Wargaming staff member. If you are selected, we will reach out to you to discuss the possibilities and next steps.
2. What are the benefits of being a Contributor?
Enjoy perks, including direct contact with Wargaming staff, early access to content, invitations to events, and more.
3. What are the expectations for Contributor Program participants?
You are expected to follow guidelines, provide constructive feedback, actively engage in Contributor Program activities, and maintain a healthy and friendly atmosphere.
4. What kind of content can Contributors create?
You can create diverse content, including videos, livestreams, written pieces, challenges, and competitions related to World of Tanks.
5. What are the chat guidelines for Contributors?
Maintain respectful and professional communication across all public platforms, including forums, streams, videos, social media, and events.
6. How are embargo rules enforced?
You must adhere to embargo rules, which include not sharing unreleased information, screenshots, or teasers about upcoming features. Our Community Representatives and Content Creators are subject to an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) and will be exposed to confidential and early-access information usually covered by an embargo.
7. Can I advance to a different category?
All Contributors get the opportunity to change to a higher/lower category based on their engagement, behavior, time availability, and Program contributions.
8. Are there any restrictions on using the press account?
Guidelines for using the press account—including security measures, event participation, and usage rules—will be shared with Contributor Program participants.
9. What if I don't receive a response? Does that mean I wasn't chosen?
Not necessarily. Our Contributor Program has limited spots available. If you don't hear back from us immediately, it doesn't mean you weren't selected. We keep outstanding applicants in mind for future opportunities, so your chance to become a Contributor might still come.
10. How can I request support for my community activities?
To organize events and activities, fill out an Activity and Support Request Form with event details and estimated reach to receive support and a budget. These will be shared with our Program participants.
11. How can I provide feedback and suggestions to Wargaming?
You will be able to share constructive suggestions about in-game features, events, and even upcoming releases through designated feedback channels and directly through Community Managers.
12. Do Contributors get paid?
Our Program does not offer direct monetary compensation. Instead, it focuses on fostering a collaborative community where Contributors can create content, engage with players, and receive various perks. However, as a Community Representative, you will have access to business opportunities, as shown in the perks table above, where monetary rewards are an option.
13. Can I join the Contributor Program if I'm not a full-time content creator?
Our Contributor Program accommodates various levels of content creation involvement, including occasional Contributors, regardless of full-time status or platform preference.
14. Is there a process for appealing sanctions or violations?
You can address issues with sanctions or violations privately with your regional Community Manager for clarification and resolution.
15. What resources are available for content creation?
All Contributors get access to content creator resources with tools, tips, and guidelines to enhance content quality.
