A new branch of American medium tanks will be added in Update 2.1.1: it is researched from the T20 (Tier VII), begins with the Ares 75 (Tier VIII), and ends with the Ares 90 C (Tier XI).
All vehicles in the branch will be available for testing except for the Ares 90 C, which can only be viewed in the Tech Tree with non-final characteristics.
Like the rest of the branch, the Ares 90 C is equipped with an autocannon featuring a heat-management system: the Thermal Overheat Control Autocannon.
The system allows the gun to fire continuously without the need for reload. Each shot generates heat: the higher the gun's temperature, the more some of its parameters change. Continuous firing will cause the gun to overheat, preventing further firing until it cools down.
All vehicles in the branch also feature the reserve track mechanic.
Two new researchable Tier XI vehicles that continue the existing vehicle branches have been added to the Tech Tree with non-final characteristics (they will not be available for testing):
PTZ-78 — Chinese tank destroyer, researched after the WZ-113G FT. It features Sequential Rocket Thrusters that boost acceleration, mobility, and maneuverability for several seconds. The left and right thrusters can operate independently, allowing for faster hull traverse without compromising reverse movement capability.
STK-2 — Japanese heavy tank, researched after the Type 71. It features Active Gun Cooling: its gun heats up when fired, which negatively affects its accuracy. After each shot, it begins cooling down and returning to its base parameters during reload, allowing for more accurate firing.
A new Mission Progress tab has been added to the post-battle results screen. Next to the tab, an animation with mission names is shown, along with a counter of missions completed in the previous battle.
The Mission Progress tab displays detailed information on both completed missions (at the top of the list) and missions for which progress was made in battle. Players can navigate to the corresponding sections for full lists of missions of each type, as well as to the vehicle and module research screens.
The following types of progression are supported:
New or maximum vehicle Elite Level
Battle Pass Stage and Chapter progress
Tank Academy missions
Regular missions
Daily, Weekly, Bonus, Premium, and Epic missions
The Sector 3 Personal Missions campaign
New vehicle or module available

The new geometry-based sound physics system introduced in Update 2.1 has been expanded to Onslaught maps: Ensk, Cliff, Pilsen, Oyster Bay, Siegfried Line, Himmelsdorf, Murovanka, Safe Haven, Airfield, and Ruinberg.
The effects, which include sound transmission, diffraction, and reflections, are designed to help players more accurately locate enemies and allies using audio signals. They may slightly increase system load.
The mode interface has been further updated to match the WoT 2.0 design: among other changes, the Vehicle Playlists have been added.
Resources for the event have been added.
The Outstanding Collector achievement, previously tied to the 2.0 Gift, can now be earned at any time.
How to earn: Players must have every researchable Tier VI–X vehicle that was in the game when Update 2.0 was released in their Garage. New vehicle branches are not required.
Rewards: Unique collector's stripe, badge, and medal.
Players can check their progress toward the rewards in the Service Record by going to the Awards tab and hovering over the Outstanding Collector's medal icon in the Special section.

Test publiczny aktualizacji 2.1.1 przybywa! Dołączcie do niego, by sprawdzić nową gałąź amerykańskich czołgów średnich poziomów VIII-XI z działkami automatycznymi i dwa kolejne pojazdy XI poziomu, wypróbować zrównoważone pojazdy XI poziomu, dodatki i ulepszenia w Natarciu i inne elementy.
Nowa gałąź amerykańskich czołgów średnich składa się z czterech pojazdów (Ares 75 – poziom VIII, the Ares 85 – poziom IX, the Ares 90 – poziom X i Ares 90 C – poziom XI).

Nowy, bazujacy na geometrii map system fizyki dźwięku wprowadzony w aktualizacji 2.1 został wprowadzony do wybranych map Natarcia (Ensk, Urwisko, Pilzno, Zatoka małży, Linia Zygfryda, Himmelsdorf, Murowanka, Bezpieczna przystań, Lotnisko i Ruinberg). Efekty, jakie daje system, to między innymi przewodzenie dźwięku oraz dyfrakcja i odbicia fal dźwiękowych. Wszystko to pomaga graczom dokładniej zlokalizować przeciwników i sojuszników dzięki dźwiękom.
