Commanders!
In the upcoming update, Strongholds will be changed significantly.
Prior to update 9.8, the clans with an insufficient number of players or Tier X vehicles for successful game in battles for Strongholds, could not use Reserves above level 4.
Now everything will change.
In the upcoming update, the Champion division format in battles for Strongholds will be added (maximum 10 vehicles up to and including Tier VIII). It will be available for clans with a Command Center between levels V - VII.
From now on, more clans will be able to activate the Defense period and fight in the usual Champion format, level up their Stronghold and get better bonuses.
At the same time, all clans with activated Defenses are still able to fight each other with some restrictions on the Battle Reserves usage:
# |
Attack Type (Attacker vs Defender) |
Vehicles for both sides |
Battle consumables usage |
---|---|---|---|
1 |
Command Center: levels V-VII vs levels V-VII |
8/10 (from 1 to 10 vehicles up to Tier VIII) |
|
2 |
Command Center: levels VIII-X vs levels V-VII |
8/10 (from 1 to 10 vehicles up to Tier VIII) |
|
3 |
Command Center: levels V-VII vs levels VIII-X |
10/15 (from 1 to 15 vehicles up to Tier VIII) |
|
4 |
Command Center: levels VIII-X vs levels VIII-X |
10/15 (from 1 to 15 vehicles up to Tier X) |
|
Please note that all the scheduled battles between clans will be converted according to the table.
With update 9.8, a restriction for Defense hour will be implemented from 5:00 to 10:00 CEST (UTC+2).
Such changes are needed to prevent the situation with battles planned during server reboots, as well as to avoid night battles in order to cap gaming sessions.
Please keep in mind that if you change the Defense hour of the clan before the 9.8 release, and your new time is within the restricted period, the Defense hour will be moved to 21:00 UTC+2 after the patch automatically. However, in such a case, the cool down will remain in effect and you won't be able to change the Defense hour until it's finished.
If your Defense hour is set within the restricted period (5:00 to 10:00 UTC+2), it is recommended to either change it to a different time or to wait for the patch release and then change it (if the default does not suit you).
Roll out!
