gained modern-day popularity through its depiction in Hollywood, but originally it played a crucial role in the Allied victory in World War II. While the British were busy developing the Firefly variant of the M4 Sherman, the Americans were also working on their own improved version of the Sherman tank. Both nations recognized the importance of installing a new turret and gun to counter the threat posed by the German Tiger I and Panther tanks. This led to the development of the E8 variant, also known as the "Easy Eight," which featured in the award-winning 2014 film Fury. In-game, the upgrade takes the form of a gun with excellent DPM and handling, as well as a very strong mantlet.
