The Soviet school of tank-building was famous for the versatility of its designs, built for a wide range of purposes and various conditions. In World of Tanks, that is especially noticeable among the top medium tanks. The T-22 medium is not an exception - this medium tank can perform as well as its Soviet siblings, if not better.

Find out more about this exquisite vehicle:

Gun: The T-22 medium boasts an outstanding weapon, with a great rate of fire and excellent penetration. In fact, it is one of the most accurate guns among the Soviet medium tanks. With an aiming time of just 1.9 seconds  the best among all Tier X mediums – this gun's aiming time is comparable to the German Leopard!

Stabilisation: Its firing accuracy while moving is excellent - this tank can easily deal damage while firing on the move.

Mobility: The most dynamic medium tank of all the Tier X Soviet mediums. A fantastic engine-power to weight ratio makes it incredibly mobile. Easily switch flanks during battle without wasting any time and stay in the fight!

Armour: This is one hard nut to crack. The T-22 medium can take a huge amount of punishment. Its well-armoured front and sides, good depression angles, and well-protected turret making it a tough beast to damage. The armour of the T-22 medium stands out among tanks of the same class, with its frontal armour getting as thick as 250 millimeters!

Tactical Role

This tank is able to do everything expected of a medium tank: capture strategically important positions, form medium tank “wolfpacks”, provide support for heavily-armoured allies and much more. If necessary, the T-22 medium can also trade blows with the enemy.

Due to the peculiar shape of its hull, this newcomer to the Soviet tree is quite capable of “soaking” damage from even high-Tier opponents.

Are you ready for the rampage that is about to ensue?
