NEW MECHANICS

Both sides of the conflict have been preparing for this showdown. The Blitzträger auf E 110 is now equipped with new Hyperion tech enabling it to do massive damage to multiple enemies. The Alliance has added one more tank type to their roster, which now lists four powerful machines; there are additional abilities allowing them to do splash damage and slowly regenerate HP.

Plasma obtained by the Harriers when a Generator is overloaded now enhances the power of their shots and abilities. There are three Generators on the battlefield at any moment, and each can be overcharged right after you deal with the Sentinel bots protecting it. Players will also meet opponents of comparable skill in battles, and the rental Waffenträger auf E 100 now comes with a fixed four-perk crew.

GATES AND REWARDS

During the event, you can obtain lots of valuables from different sources, with Harriers’ and Engineer’s Starters being the most desirable prizes. Each Starter type is used to open their respective Gate.

Harriers’ Gates can hold vehicle customization, credits, days of WoT Premium account, Personal Reserves, and more. Engineer’s Gates contain especially valuable items, such as more battles in the Waffenträger auf E 100, assorted customization elements including the Harriers’ 3D styles, gold, credits, Personal Reserves, Demounting Kits, Crew Books, and Premium vehicles, including new and very rare ones. You can replace the rewards you receive with credits (Harriers’ Gates) or gold (Engineer’s Gates).

Starters of either type are awarded for completing some combat missions and Progression Stages, plus Engineer’s Starters also come as gifts with special Premium Shop packages available from September 25 until October 9.

REWARD VEHICLES

12 Premium and reward vehicles can be obtained from Engineer‘s Gates. That includes the CS-52 LIS, the ShPTK-TVP 100, the M-IV-Y, the Object 274a, the T54 Heavy, the Strv 81, the ISU-152K, the FV1066 Senlac, and the K-2.

There are three more machines that deserve particular attention. The KJPZ TIII Jäger, a Tier IX Premium German TD making its debut, is a nimble mobile sniper with great gun handling and accuracy. The Object 283, already known to the community, is a sleek Tier IX rear-turreted reward Soviet medium tank with a high DPM. Another interesting visitor is the Jagdtiger Prototype, a Tier VIII Premium German assault TD wielding a powerful 128 mm gun.

GOLDEN BLITZTRÄGER AUF E 220 HUNT

Playing as a Harrier during the Waffenträger: Projekt Hyperion event, you can encounter a special version of the boss adversary, the Blitzträger auf E 220. The slightly different name of the vehicle and the special color scheme with a touch of gold signify that you are facing a special opponent: one of your favorite content creators or a Wargaming employee. Defeat a golden Blitzträger, and you (and every Harrier on the team) will get an Engineer’s Starter, plus some bragging rights.

THE PLOT THICKENS

Waffenträger: Projekt Hyperion continues the story of intrigue, betrayal, and covert operations. Last year, the Alliance’s plans to acquire the dangerous tech developed by the notorious scientist and engineer Max von Krieger were thwarted by a gifted daughter of his, Ermelinda. This time, the Harriers’ superiors have decided to fight lightning with lightning, enlisting the help of her elder sister, Hannelore. The latter has improved the tactical potential of their vehicles, while Ermelinda has been busy working on the devastating Hyperion device.

Does this arms race boil down to mere sibling rivalry, or could some higher motives possibly be involved on either side? Participate in the event and find out! You can also recruit Hannelore as a tank commander (by completing one of the Progression Stages).

Join the Fray, Commanders!
From September 25, try it all out: beat the boss and be the boss in event battles, play in the rental Waffenträger in Random Battles, maybe meet a golden Blitzträger, and earn a load of valuable and memorable rewards!
