Vehicle Overview

Since the release of version 9.18, the WZ-132-1 is the crown jewel of the Chinese light tank branch. In terms of gameplay, it doesn't really differ from its predecessors – a brief look at its combat parameters already shows that it needs to be played like a light-medium hybrid.

Its gun boasts high single-shot damage (390 per shot) compared to other light tanks of the same tier, however, this is balanced out with a lower rate of fire and mediocre accuracy and aim time. Nonetheless, you will be able to form wolf packs with other medium tanks, and as long as you don't draw the enemy's attention, you can fulfill your supporting role just fine. The rounded, thick-armoured turret can deflect some shots too, but don't expect any Steel Wall medals.

Of course, the mobility and view range help you to scout the field when necessary, even though it's one of the slowest Tier X light tanks, with a top speed of 65 km/h. The camouflage value is high enough for you to stay under the radar, should you need to reposition yourself or help out at other flanks. We still recommend you to invest in the Camouflage skill to lower the chances of you getting spotted. Remember that even if you're essentially playing a hybrid tank, you won't suffer from any penalties on your camouflage value while driving, thanks to the light tank classification.
