Some tanks have a pretty straight play style and you can guess what you get by just looking at their assigned class; others are a bit trickier to figure out and require a skilled commander to master them. The T-34-3, set at Tier VIII in the Chinese medium tank line, and the French FCM 50 t, a Tier VIII heavy tank, are good examples of the two.
The FCM 50 t isn’t your typical heavy tank, but it borrows quite heavily from medium qualities like high mobility, accurate armament with a high rate of fire, and a reliable but not necessarily thick armour. It’s a great support vehicle but not a brawler.
The T-34-3, on the other hand, is listed as a medium tank but doesn’t fear to get close and all up into the enemies’ business. Hull and turret armour are borrowed from the famous Type 59 and, although the turret lost a bit of its thickness, it's still an ideal tank for side-scraping tactics. The powerful 122-mm gun needs to be in close range to hit but will leave you impressed when it does.
