Vehicle Description

The DZT-159 is a medium tank that combines serious frontal armor and a classic Chinese high-caliber gun for a vehicle of its size. As if that wasn't enough, some experimental rocket accelerators were additionally mounted. All this makes it a unique, dangerous assault vehicle more than capable of finding its place on the battlefield.

Historical Reference

At the end of 1959, China decided to develop an alternative medium tank based on the proven Type 59 base using technologies and solutions from other sources. The tank was supposed to feature jet boosters that increased the vehicle's speed and crossing capacity.
