After three full seasons of the WGL EU, plus the Grand Finals, several highly skilled teams had emerged in the European arena, slowly fortifying their positions at the top. One might think that nothing could change at this point and we would have to get used to constantly seeing the same faces in our finals.
However, even with a huge advantage of experience, those top teams had a hard time during this season’s group stage. New teams managed to climb their way up the unforgiving ladder of professional gaming, rattling cages and outperforming some of the old giants.
The group stage has finished and the show must go on! We’re excited to tell you that the Wargaming.net League Europe Season 4 Finals will be held on the weekend of 30-31 August 2014 in Cologne, Germany, in a professional streaming studio. To keep our offline audience entertained, the community team have prepared a special offline event as well!
