UPDATE: Roll out for the Golden Joystick Awards
The Golden Joystick Awards is one of the oldest and biggest gaming award ceremonies in the world. Winners are chosen solely by player votes. This means that all the winners in every category are chosen by real gamers. This year, the awards are celebrating their thirtieth birthday and so the event promises to be bigger and better than ever. There are no less than sixteen categories in the show this year, and World of Tanks has been selected to compete in one of them: the ‘Best MMO of the Year’.

At Wargaming, we love celebrations and we always are happy to get nominations. We are even happier when we win! This time round, if we win, we want to share the fruits of victory with you – the players!
If World of Tanks WINS the ‘Best MMO of the Year’ award at the Golden Joystick Awards ceremony on October 26th, all of our community will receive some huge bonuses, including experience multipliers and in-game discounts:
- Bonus code, which will give you 3 days of Premium Account and additional premium consumables!
- Price reduction on high tier tanks. These tanks will be discounted to the price of their predecessors in the Tech Tree. The tanks being reduced are as follows:
