Nickname Change Comes to World of Tanks
Wargaming is proud to present a new feature for players of World of Tanks. From tomorrow, October 11th , you will be able to change your nickname!
Did you choose your nickname after just 5 seconds thought just so that you could get to playing as soon as possible? Did you realise too late that you won’t only play SPGs and that being ‘Arty McFly’ is not as funny with a heavy tank? Perhaps you are named after an ex-girlfriend, or is it simply the case that after thousands of battles, you have tired of seeing the same name?
There are hundreds of reasons why you might want to change your nickname, and now you finally have the option to do so, and you don’t even need to give any reasons for the change. For a fee of 2500 gold you will be able to rename your World of Tanks account with an awesome and well thought-out new nickname.
The option will be available in the Account Management page after you have logged in. To perform the operation you will have to have sufficient gold funds available on your account and you will need to remember your password. It couldn’t have been simpler! The change will take immediate effect on the Wargaming.net websites, but you will need to wait several days (up to two weeks) to see the change in the game.
