WGLEU Extended Season 2017: The Final Battle

The best WGL teams across the world will storm the main stage at WG Fest, Moscow in December!

Our top European teams are currently enjoying a mid-season break this week. They will need this short rest to prepare for their next battles, which will lead the best of them all the way to Moscow for the upcoming Final Battle

After the European Season Finals in November, the local top 3 will move on to compete at a global event, where they will clash with the rest of the world in a 12 team playoff stage for tank supremacy.

Three slots for the European runners up, three slots for the CIS superstars, and two for the North American, Asian and Chinese challengers. One battle to rule them all and in Moscow bind them.

The initial round-robin stage will open the way to the quarter and semi-finals in single-elimination matches. All these games will be streamed live from 13 to 17 December. Once the playoffs are complete, the remaining two teams will get to set the main stage ablaze at WG Fest on 23 December. With a massive prize pool of $300,000 USD up for grabs, both teams will definitely have to bring their A game if they want to leave with the lion’s share, so be sure to tune in to the live stream to catch all the action!

Important: This week is the mid-season break. From next week onwards, follow the WGL Extended Season to support your favourite teams every Thursday and Friday from 19:00 CEST, and every Sunday from 17:30 CEST on the official livestream channel.
